ISO5 on i phone 4

i for some reason am having a hard time getting my itunes to detect my iphone...has anyone had this happten? if you did how did you fix it?...what a pain! i have removed ituens and redownloaded it and it still will not work. i know once you remove a program you need to delete it and empty the trash bin but do i have to delete it from my regedit too if so what am i looking for as i did not see itunes listed.
anyway i was going to update my ISO but kinda hard if it says my phone is not there let me know if you can help post or email me

after removing and reinstalling everything 3 times in the right order it is finally back working!

You may have and issue with the physical port connection on your iPhone. It happenied to a friend of mine. He took it to some place in Edmonton to get it fixed.

Im still using the final developers version of iOS 5 lol.

Came out about a week before everyone else had it. I have experienced no issues whatsoever.

For those of you experiencing dropped calls, that's usually the service provider, not the phone... Usually.
