Our inside weeping tile is complete.
Basement plumbing complete.
Hope for sand in the basement in the next few days.

Just because I know some of you are building yourself. I will tell you right now, do not deal with granite direct, unless you can wait years......Just got word that they are delaying stuff ANOTHER 2 months minimum. Cabinets and granite was ordered in late june was suppose to be 60 days or less, was suppose to be in this week, now say november, if that happens.....

And the word is there is a LOT of other people in the same boat and there phone is ringing non stop with pissed off people......

So pissed off screws me up for building my place this fall that likely won't happen now :realmad:

Here's a few pics of our going up at Lac ste. Anne. Going a bit slower than I'd like but it's out of town so that is to be expected.
Anyone know of a good roofer who does shingles as well as metal?

Nice build...

...Call Russ at Lakeside Roofing in Spruce Grove...did work in Edmonton as well as Wabamun...great guy.

Hope the sand goes in the basement next week.

we are going to startputting in weeping tile tomorow if the weather cooprates, and on monday we will have elms come in and water proof the walls, and then wait for approlval to back fill

I'm thinking of using crush in the basement instead of sand...way more porous to let water through and move to the weeping tile...they use packed crush in tons of slab applications...my builder dude is checking it out for me.
