Sounds like Chappell was the place to be. Thought about heading there today too...Kids rode in Chappel today. Trail in was rough with open creek crossings. Snow was so deep they did not make it to the lakes area. All agree it was prime Turbo conditions.
VARDA website states trails to be groomed tonight.
Parking lot was DEEP. Few vehicles got stuck with one needing a pull to get out.
They say at least 4 feet or more of powder up top…
Edit: I was told to, “Watch out for massive swells,” sounds like there are giant powder pillows with drop offs as you cut across open terrain.
