As another winter snowmobile season is coming to a close, we have so much to be grateful for. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Valemount and Area Recreation Development Association, please accept our most sincere Thank You for choosing to #ridevalemount.

The communities of Valemount, McBride and Blue River all rely on our winter tourism and our dedicated ridership is what makes it a success.
We understand and appreciate the challenges that everyone faced this season. With accommodation and access issues, we all still persevered and made the best of what we had to work with.

VARDA strives to provide the best possible grooming and snowmobile-based infrastructure to our guests year after year. We could not do this without the help of groups like Recreation Sites and Trails BC, Tourism Valemount and most importantly our club Sponsors.
The support VARDA receives from industry related businesses and like-minded individuals is crucial to our operations. We simply could not do what we do, without this level of support.

This year is a prime example. Our user number took a massive reduction, yet we continued to operate our ambitious grooming and maintenance program as normal. This is only possible due to our strong level of outside support, and we cannot thank these individuals and businesses enough. Please have a look at our sponsor link and pay it forward to these great businesses whenever possible. https://ridevalemount.com/sponsorship/sponsors/

While the winter season is slowly winding down, we want to encourage everyone to consider Valemount as a year around destination for your outdoor adventures. There and so many things to do in our community and surrounding area that the opportunities are endless, and it would be a shame to only enjoy them in the winter.

We will continue to provide access updates as we can although the info is likely to be sparse as we switch gears. As of right now, its still full on access from the Allan and Chappell staging areas. Clemina is accessed by driving up the FSR to 4km. Trail condition unknown after that.

Ride safe!

Rode Allen today, access is fine from the pit if you’re ok with a couple hundred feet of gravel after first corner. Snow is setup, but there was some decent on north facing beyond super bowl
Heading out there Sunday, thanks for the update

Looks like a reset coming for this coming weekend. Where are they unloading at Allen?

Following… seems like a really good snow pack on the Allen Cabin cam this morning…

Is that freshies I see on the trees??

Last weekend we unloaded right before the trail got skinny (couple minutes from the top lot) with a trailer.

Guys with decks were backing up right to snow line. Trail wasn’t bad, couple ‘dirt’ pulls but to be expected at this time of year I’d say

The freshies melted off the trees, it’s spring time sledding and good late sledding at that. Hit the road it’s still good. …….
