That's who I've been watching. Would be awesome up here if you could do it under the radar. They even have a bunch of t40s at Richie Bros

Yeah just back from a camping trip and can’t believe how much the crops changed in 10 days. Crazy weather

36 degrees, wind gusting to 46km/h. No rain for the last 4 weeks.

We have gotten 66mm in the last couple days about 40min west of Edmonton. About 30 or 33mm in an hour to start it off.

It only it was a couple days earlier, Jasper would be in better shape

Brother has the smaller version of those drones and has done a few thousand acres. Some around Bonneville and some solar farms southern Ab. He was saying on the weekend that to fly the bigger ones you pretty much need a pilots license or close

I know to do it commercially right now is probably a giant pain in the ass. Farmers can do it on their own land with little grief. For me to have a ground rig come and spray is about 10-11 dollars per acre. Haven’t had the airplane out in a long time but I’m sure it’s at least $15/ac.

For us airplane was 13.50 and 14.50
For the heli, but fungicide prices have come
Down alot so its currentlt cheaper now to get the plane then it was 5 years ago due to fungicide dropping about 3-4 bucks a acre plane used to be 10.50

What a mess. Now what do you do with all the straw. Vertical till when it dries out I guess.

So was that wind or hail? You would think that the plant will die quickly once it’s kinked off. Hopefully the heat doesn’t shrink the kernels.
