Boston is a great road team, according to their record, they are 8-3 at home and 6-3 on the road so I still like their odds. As a comparison, the Hawks are 10-2 at home and 4-5 on the road so if the Bruins can win this next one, I think the odds are in Bostons favor.

With that being said, this series has been a roller coaster ride with neither team, except for game 3, being able to hang onto a lead for very long. If it weren't for Boston being so good on the road I might be a little worried about them losing the series but I still feel good about their chances.

I still stand by my prediction of this series going 7 games with the Hawks eeking out for the cup.

Well, I said Boston in 6 at the beginning. I don't know if Boston can win this now. If they win at home, I can see Chicago coming like gang busters and Boston won't have a sniff in game #7.

How in the hell did the refs miss that trip near the end of the game that gave the Hawks an EN goal? I know there was only 13 seconds left but hey, with one of their guys in the penalty box and Rask off for another attacker would have greatly increased the B's chances of tying it. Even that Keith Jones couldn't believe it wasn't called.

Anywho, look for the Bruins to lay it all out there tonight and if Bergeron is 100% we get the advantage back on the faceoff circle. Lucic will be a man possessed and Marchand will be hell on the Hawks tonight. This is the same scenario they were in back in 2011, I don't see them losing 2 games at home in the SC finals. This one is going to 7 games! GO BRUINS!!!

I don't like to complain about penalties or non calls but seriously, that was so flagrant, everyone watching the game saw it happen and giving them the EN goal was like rubbing salt on the wound.

Ok..............i'm done with my 1 non-call rant now. lol :behindsofa:

I'm not a mental giant but Boston has to win tonight!

Regardless of what the friggin' ref's doo......

And they have to win the next one. Two in a row is going to be tough.

Why do you say that? Boston already beat them 2 in a row once in this series. Nobody thought the Bruins could beat the Canucks but they did and they can do it again against the Hawks. Watch for some heavy hitting tonight, especially in the crease, the B's have been too soft in that area the last 2 games and that will change tonight.

I agree whole heartedly. That was before Chicago woke up. I'm not a Chicago fan but they seem to have the jump, the momentum right now. It is funny how the game goes. I think it was game 3 that Boston hit so much and they won. They couldn't continue or didn't think it was necessary to continue with that strategy and Chicago got back in the series and started believing in themselves.

Can they play like they need to two games in a row with the final being in Chicago? I hope they can but I'm not betting on them.

I agree, I also think the Bruins put it in cruise control and let up on the Hawks BUT, I also think that they will change that tonight. We'll know soon enough I reckon.

It was a helluva game though wasn't it? I was shocked at Chara's plus minus in the series. I didn't realize he was that bad in the series. He seemed like a force out there but was on the ice for alot of even strength goals.

That was an ending I did not expect. To score so easily after pulling the goalie then scoring the go ahead goal just a few seconds after, wow, too say I was shocked at the outcome is an understatement. The way the Bruins came storming out of the gate in the first I thought there was no way the Hawks could match it. I also thought they let up and the Hawks took advantage of it, again.

Chara eats up a lot of minutes for the Bruins each game and I think it finally caught up with him. Oh well, it was a great series with all the games being so close and no chippy bs going on like when they played Vancouver. Best thing about the season ending last night, it won't be long before they (NHL) are back at it again but this time they will get a full season to play, which means more hockey for us!!

I have never been impressed with his play. As a matter of fact due to his size and some of his defensive plays I feel he is going to severely hurt someone one day.

Good series but the Bruins seemed to be hurting or banged up more than the Hawks. I think if went to game 7 hawks would have one. Bergeron was a big loss as far as his injury.
