Game 4 was probably the best game Pittsburgh played and they still could not get it done. Kinda felt bad for Vocoun but hey, my Bruins won and i'm happier than a pig in sh!t for a shot at a 2nd cup in 3 years. Of course all the hockey analyst/media talking heads are saying Chicago will win it because the Bruins can't match up. Where did I hear that before?

My opinion here but I think the B's give the Hawks matchup problems that they haven't seen yet in these playoffs. Chara on Kane or Toews? I'd say Toews because he didn't handle the pressure from Zetterberg too well in the Detroit series. He's going to be hating life if that's how it plays out, Chara is just a beast on defense. Bruins seem to play better on the road than they do at home so I like their odds. Going to be a good series either way.

GO BRUINS!

What a classic game 1 turned into, almost 2 full games in 1!! Bummer way to lose it but I figured it would end on an ugly goal. Hopefully Horton can make it back into the lineup soon. Looking forward to game 2 on Saturday!! Burgers, beer and SCF's hockey, doesn't get any better than that!!

GO BRUINS!!!!

That was a great game. Terrible goal to end it. Rask put on a show in the 3rd and the first OT. This is going to be a great series. Good back and forth clean fast paced hockey.

I thought the Bruins had Chicago on the run in the overtimes. Lots of flopping goalies and fanning on open nets action.

I have to agree, I thought Boston actually got better in the OT's and the Hawks looked gassed in the 3rd yet they still ekked out the win. I think Boston is a better conditioned team than Chicago but in those OT's they (Boston) simply were trying way too hard to end the game. Tomorrow nights game should be a good one.

If you look at the ot goal you can see that seidenberg could have maybe prevented it but he decided to pick up and put on his glove that had fallen off in the corner

What a game again!

You are absolutely 100% correct.......Boston seemed to take a little longer to get going (more of the older players and they maybe were a little more tired after the last game????) but get going they did!

Another two day rest should favour the Bruins especially since they are going home.

As a Bruins fan, that first period was brutal to watch, it reminded me of the first period in the first game in the series against the Pens. I don't know why but Boston seems to get stronger as the game goes on, it's a good thing they are playing soild D and Tuukka is on his game or they could be down 2-0. I think tonight the Bruins get that first goal and play a much more solid game on both ends. Boston is doing a great job of keeping Chicago's star's in check, Toews must hate playing agsint Chara and Seidenberg and Kane looks like he's afraid to get hit. I like the Bruins chances in this series, if they can win both at home I think they take the series in 6 games.

I've been watching this on NBC and NBCSN and for the life of me I just don't get Mike Milbury, being an ex Bruin you would think he would be a little bias towards the Bruins but he acts like he hates them.

i also think a large part of last game has to be given to Lucic (much like the first game) ....he hit everything that moved, and finished every hit....if i recall he had over 10 hits by the end of the second? that guy is a machine and even when the rest of the team looked lost he was out banging the boards in awesome fashion. always been my fav. bruin

that's because he is a BC boy :) Love to have him on your team but hate him playing on the other.

Not sure it's a BC thing but I'll let ya have this one.... Lol, but in the first 2 periods he was the best Boston player. And the first game was top 2. Well besides Rask that is. Him and Crawford are making this series what it is

It's been said many times before, if Lucic plays his game the Bruins are very difficult to beat. Looch is one of my favorite players as well. You could see it on the Hawks faces when he was coming in for a hit, they would panic and get rid of the puck before he hit them. He is definitley a key player for Boston and if he gets his game amped up tonight, Chicago better watch out. I think the Bruins win tonight in regulation but another OT game wouldn't surprise me at all.
