just not a fan of him, I remember the series when he cried that people were throwing hats on the ice after the ovachickens hat trick.....but then no complaints when the same happened for him in pitt. I know they all do it just the way he goes about some things gets under my skin. and i'm even from nova scotia
Not sure why everyone has it out for Crosby, one of Canada best players , they all complain to the officials, every last one of them, they all take dives ect. Hell Chara took a couple last game and they were completely obvious, just trying to sell it to the refs. I think Pitts will take tonight's but it's still over for them

Each to their own I guess, as a player he is one of the best skilled in the world, as far as on Ice antics, I don't much care because hockey has evolved so much that players are forced to whine to the refs, simply because the refs can't catch everything, and half of the calls now a days are bogus to begin with.
I remember a game where he scored and the whole country rejoiced at the fact they just won gold.

same here Ken dont really care who wins but I just dont get it. As far as I am concerned if the NHL is not willing to tell the refs to call ALL infarctions then remove them from the hockey bible and let them play or the very least allow a teams to contest a call/no call during the next whistle. The OT goal by Boston would have been shot down if Pits had that option.

I agree. I have no dog in the fight but there was alot of hooking, holding and mauling last night both ways. Kinda favors a grinding team IMO.

Even with the two referee system, they miss calls or decide it is no call.

The one thing I learned from all the years that I coached was that yes there were calls that they missed but more importantly, I learned that I did not have the same line of sight as the referee did. That gentlemen, makes a huge difference.

The ghosts of Tony Esposito, Stan Mikita and Bobby Hull are in play here.
