Faack, does the T3 drive shaft, skid and track fit in the 14's ?
The only thing I had to change was the plugs in the driveshafts that have the magnets for the speedo. The g4 ones are inset and the xm ones were rubber plugs that stuck out almost a 1/4”. Inside the g4 shaft there is a small lip on the driveshaft that the plug pushes up against that the xm didn’t have but the plug still fit snug and tight. Other than that we had the xm skid and g4 skid side by side and the bolt centers were identical. The only difference was the front spacer shaft had wheels on the g4 and the xm didn’t.

I found this all out of necessity because my 15 year old watches to much muskoka free rider videos and now believes that’s what sledding is and is just absolutely beating his sled to death and did one of those stupid flippy whip things and smoked a tree about 15’ up it and completely anihalated his rails. I found some used takeoffs in sicamous and had a friend grab them and bring them to Seymour arm. We rebuilt his skid and put it all back together and when we started the sled and spun the track that’s when I saw the huge tear in the track. This was our second day of a 2 week sled holiday. Being the great dad I am I thought threw the night about what we could do. My good buddy had just bought a 25 turbo and had his old 14 at the lake so I asked him if it works I would buy his sled and use it for parts. Took some measurements and the only real noticeable difference was track pitch so drivers had to be swapped. I have a good press up there so figured worst case we would just press drivers but once it was apart all the measurements were the same other than those speedo plugs. Put it all together and probably has about 400km with no issues. Now he’s got a 163 expert!

Thanks All! I appreciate you giving me the heads up on this. I ended up just selling my 2015 and buying a Gen 4 off a friend with a recently replaced engine.

Decided the time to swap the engine could be put to better use on some other projects (finishing my new sprinter build out).
