This is what’s been the only thing entertaining around here the last 4 years, hardly worth checking for conditions or grooming info or anything sled related anymore. Varda posts at the beginning of a season and when they need money, basically that’s it, blue river people don’t post at all, there is a couple people that still actually post some pics and sled conditions but it’s a fraction of what it used to be. So basically I come here for the laughs and that’s it. The old boys got their panties in a bunch too much I guess. Kinda reminds me of govt, if it’s not in their beliefs it’s false and swept under a rug….. oh well, was fun while it lasted

It does kind of all intersect and go that direction except that it's the same 6 or 7 guys that always take it there while also never posting anything about Snow, Mud, Sleds, SxS, pickups etc. It's just all negative chit and fear porn from these posters all the time.

I thought Snow & Mud was more geared up too out-door recreation when it first got going...

All of us had fun bashing Skidoo and Polaris even though we know that Artic Cat is the best...
It was all in good fun/ or was intended too...

Id like too vote on getting S&M back too where it all started...

Its suppose too be about the good time's for all of us,,, out-door recreation,,, camping,,, fishing,,, hunting,,, jet boats,,, snowmobiling,,, motorcycle,,, trucks,,, holiday rigs,,, Pedal bikes and much much more...

Camp fires and one's favorite drink and building a Inukshuk's too...

The only pepole that can make it happen is the Owner of the Ford 1/2 ton with 2 sleds on an aluminum deck...

Good can be had by all if All of us try...

Maybe Snow & Mud will Resort back to its old way (s) in due course in time...

Everything out-doors and related...

Maybe a simpler platform that falls into the Great Out-Door,,, or the open forum We have going right now,,, perhaps its time too reevaluate what contents and threads work for us as a community...

The trick is too include folks and not drive them away,,, grow the site,,, improve the contents

Basically:

Allow contents that benifit all of us,,, those that aren't keen too this might get a time out,,, 1 or 2 double Jeopardy's at most,,, then voted off the island after that...

Dam rights its challenging running a open public forum,,, hopefully it becomes easier for the Moderators too manage if We do our part and the web leaders allow XXX or Not...

From all the web forums I vist World wide...
The most popular threads are the ones that share in great adventures...

Of course there are unexpected hardships along the way some times,,, but the vast majority of folks want contents that can benifit them if they decide too see things for them selves...

Maybe folks will openly share some of their great-out door activities so the rest of us get out there our selves...

It would be interesting too hear what plan (s) or change (es)or work..

Life out doors is better! Unless its 30 below then a furnace that works is key..

There is a huge disconnect between vaccinated and unvaccinated humans. People got their shots. Life went on. Nothing changed. Happy to wear a mask. Carry-on.
Other people for personal reasons didn’t get shots. They were Banned from society. Talked down upon. Unable to attend sports events. Unable to watch kids play outdoor soccer. Unable to visit grandma in the old folks home. Unable to earn a living, many lost everything including custody of children. Totally different experience for 25% of the population. Three years later, those unvaccinated people are supposed to just have open arms to society say it’s OK you ch!t on me don’t do it again. Fawk that never forgive, never forget, or it will happen again. Just cause it didn’t happen to everyone doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. And if you were unvaccinated for the last three years living in a big center, the sky was falling.

I agree politics and personal beliefs shouldn’t bleed out into every thread. That said a lot of other topics discussed have ties to these topics as well. Now if someone asks about a camping spot no it shouldn’t degrade into a debate on current events. But if someone talks about climate change and whether there are two sides that can be heard. Trick is people hearing. Everyone likes to talk and no one likes to listen.

As far as this site being only directed towards our door recreation. With this many people one here thats only going to go so far to keep people interacting and coming to check what’s new. Like it or not politics and current events are polarizing and will keep people engaged. Like Ron said it just needs to be kept to those threads. Easy peasy….. vacine-easy……

I chat with more Albetra folks on the ADV forum then this site...

Easier to join a facebook group and not get all the noise from the same group of guys all the time. Personally I perfer the forums if guys could stick to sled talk but I find myself spending less time on them. I don’t think the forums get the traffic from new people like they use to.

Only Ron could probably tell you how many accts have gone silent in the past couple yrs and how many have joined the last couple years. I can tell you that the last time someone joined and introduced themselves to the forum was April. That says a lot right there. It used to be an informal post whore thread where you could welcome them to the site and up your post count by one lol.

Covid or the goverment is ending our world was killing every thread. That is our focus and we need your help as well, we try to look at every post if we missed one or two in regular forums let us know we will remove it. Thanks.
