I can only find a owners manual not the same as a service manual? Maybe i am looking in the wrong place.
edit; I was not looking hard enough i did find the service manual but no 2020 yet. Thanks for the info.
After rereading your original post, it's like you have a short to ground somewhere. If you had no issues until you changed the bars. I would go back to the handle bars and start there, checking the wires and connections. Measure all the electrical devices hand warmers etc look for a wire rubbed...
I have seen the odd one damaged on all brands usually there is a story that goes with the damage. Like i was just driving my grandma to church and the lugs all fell off we were only doing 20 kph I swear.
Most likely that track was damaged when you bought it, (stump, rock, or speed). They are deep powder tracks and work as good or better than any other track out there, I bought my Alpha for the track. I don't believe this is a common issue with those tracks. I would definitely have a dealer look...
Seriously I would take to Dragonweld on here. They have Niners Alpha working pretty good. Check out some of their threads, I believe they have the stock Alpha at 49 MPH track speed, correct me if I am wrong. Why reinvent the wheel if their kit works that good just buy it and your done.
The shim is for belt alignment so unless your having belt alignment issues no. Is the sled a mountain cat if so? Have you been riding at lower elevation and or high speed? That could be contributing factor along with weak springs, wrong weights, low gearing etc. I would clean up the clutches...
I believe the regulator is in the ecm, sounds like you may have a failed stator. Simple to check with an ohm meter, I sold my 16 and with it went the manual but any decent dealer will give you the specs and which wires to check. I would open up all connectors and inspect for corrosion /...
Thanks for doing this, I had a similar plan but don't have time right now. This makes total sense to me. It would be interesting to check where on the primary the belt length will allow the max shift?
Why not take it in now and have it checked? There were some injector failures and or injector harness failures could be you have a separate issue. The flash may have exposed the problem more so. Use the remaining warranty to your advantage when its over and if the problem is still there then do...
The price is as stated above msrp plus gst,if you want the in house warranty 99 more. No freight or pdi added on. Example 165 manual start $13,995 plus gst $14,694.75 o t d. Add $104 more for the second year (in house) warranty. This is one of the best deals I found.
You can see them March 31 in St Albert. I think you have the differences covered. I am leaning toward the Grey and Green HC. I too need to see them in person before making a decision.
I am pretty sure they used the aluminum gear to reduce rotating weight. When i installed the manual tensioner i was told not to tighten it to tight, backed off one turn. As far as a stronger chain there was a 15 wide compared to the standard 13, not sure if it still available.
