Sloppy steering 2016 M8000 Limited

Guys, what can be done with the steering slop on my 2016 M8000 Limited? It is very frustrating with the amount of movement it has. My 14 HCR is solid.

I have BDX anti-slope bushings in stock. There clean up all the play and last.

Firstly check your bottom bolt that holds all the steering together, that is usually the cause for most of the slop. If it’s slop in your actual steering side to side it’s your bottom bolt has started to back off. If your having slop forward and back then it’s the center bushing that goes into the steering support. Canada sled Parts in Lumby BC makes the upgraded bushing that both the two above have mentioned. It’s $46 and an easy install

I just bought the Canada sled parts upper and lower bushings, haven’t installed yet but looks to be about an hour job, good quality parts too

Thanks guys for the info. Looks like I have both side to side and front to back so looks like I will be doing both jobs.what is involved with and how do you get to the bottom bolt to see if it is loose and tighten if needed?

I have the Canada sled parts bushings and still have some slop. I'll have to check for a backed out bolt and see if the bottom bushing is in or not I can't remember.

Ya, its not an easy install...however any slop will be gone. It fits dam tight!!

I did find the bell crank to be an issue also it is a less than desirable set up but you can shim it and remove the remaining slop.
