I ghost rode mine lightly into a stump. No visible damage at all. Camber was way out. Turns out I bent and cracked 3 upper frame supports, and everything was shifted all the way back to the struts that hold the fuel tank on.
Do some inspections. Those aluminum supports are cheap, and easy to...
Silent Pass. We were the only 2 sleds on the hill today. Road is plowed to km24, icy. There’s logging to km17 and 21. We parked at km24. Yesterday it looked like guys made it to km35. If you are pulling a trailer, don’t go past 24. Turnarounds are getting deep, icy underneath. Road/trail is...
Oh boy, there are different opinions for sure.
I think stuck for sledding, is when the shovel comes out. I dont even call it stuck if i provide a ski pull for a buddy.
However, i have a bastard dutchman buddy that snaps a pic even if we are stopped in deep snow, forwards every damn pic to...
Best thing I did on the ole m1000 was throw the reverse electric motor and harness in the garbage, made my own manual lever, welded it to the top of the gear arm mounted on the top of the diamond drive, made a small slot in the kick plate and plastic. Wish I had a picture of it still.
Worked...
Bad fuel, or bad fuel pump, or closed/plugged smart valve.
Check the tube off the computer isn’t plugged or have a slug of water in it.

Watch your primary clutch, check the weights are free and not sticky/stuck. And if it’s happening after you’ve been moving...
It’s a Great clutch. Great update. The 18 likes the 48. Trust me, I spent my whole last season trying 6 different combinations. Don’t ask, I can’t remeber haha.
Easy bolt on. Buy the alignment tool, you will need to shim the secondary and buy the new belt. Only crap part, in reverse the belt...
Speedwerx should be able to tell you where to run their kit at, rpm wise. They are all different. Jaws loves scream, BDX/SSI loves to grunt. Leave it up to the manufactures R&D.
Youll love the gearing change
Roll sled on its side, look between the track and front cooler, to check top of bulkhead/tunnel for a crack where the steering post nut is. There is a fix kit if that starts to crack out. 07-09 was a problem with us Apes yarding hard on the bars
So I may be out in left field here, but if this was your question or what you needed help with, my finger is pointing at the 2 wires that comes out of the main plug(the large one top of pic), and pushed into the supplied tether plug. Then put the 2 supplied wires back into main plug. Clip all...
