Use Lincoln .030 NR211MP flux core wire with no shielding gas, set your polarity to electrode (-) fine tune your setting until it runs nice, you will be able to weld up to 5/16" material, without having to clean material prior to welding.
Solid wire & shielding gas with this machine, use a .25...
Curtis,
I'm not sure if you have been in contact with Rapid-Span, I will pass on this information to our sales department.
Keep in mind you are dealing with public liability and the whole crossing and bridge has to be engineered. So trying to find something used and cost effective could be...
IMO, Don't add anything, try to use up most of gas on last ride, park for summer, fill with new gas and add injector cleaner on first ride next season.
Got from reliable source, worst thing you can do is start and run them during the summer for few minutes, doesn't get engine up to operating...
Now I know how rumors get started, if it looks like a doo it is a doo.
Can't believe some people start this BS, I guess there life is boring and they have nothing else to doo.
Riverjet is correct, you cant go anywhere without I.D., you must be able to prove who you are, no matter where you are or what your doing. How do you actually think they catch criminals. Good guys usually have nothing to hide, so why not carry your I.D.
IMO, Marathon has made a huge mistake discontinuing there sled deck, this opens the door wide open for Crosstrax, STF or Full lotus to take over the market, time will tell.
I drilled and installed 4 of the bullseye's from D&D racing into the top of my airbox(2 each side of factory intake). This was very inexpensive and got rid of the bog when riding in deep powder. Snow will block the intake by headlights and engine will bog from lack of air, not fuel problem.
Patent lawyer first, if you already have some type of drawing, they will research if there is already a patent on your idea and if not, they will get the patent for you.
Anybody running a carlisle belt on their M1000, I heard through the rumor mill they were supposed to be pretty good.
I put on one 200 miles ago, and now its starting to fly apart. I will send it back to them, and find out how good there warranty is.
Wondering what other people think of these belts.
Few weeks ago I purchased a 2009 Polaris trail RMK 550, which brought my total number of insured sleds to 5, other sleds are 08-M1000, 09-M8, 96-Polaris XLT and a 1981 yamaha 340 enticer.
I was insured through Dominion for 14 yrs on all my insurance, house, autos, toys etc. went to insure the...
Go with the Jaws, I have one on my 08, she's loud, but that's the way I like it. Another rider I usually go with in mountains had a MBRP on his 08 and didn't like the way his sled ran, he took off the MBRP and put on a Jaws, made a world of difference. I think a lot of guys don't want to spend...
don't even waste your time on the doo, go with the M8, you felt what it was like from start, it only gets more confortable and is the best mountain sled out there for reliablity and handling
My 1000 did that once on one of my first rides last year as well, turned out it was my spindles were froze up from going through some water. Got machine into garage, let them dry out good and gave them a good grease and no problems after.
Does anybody know if the 2005 700 sabercat's are a good machine, my wife is looking at buying one, and I'm not familiar with them, any feedback would be appreciated.
Go with the M8, twisted turbo(pump gas) or RTR boondocker.
The turbo yami's are great sleds, but for the tree's, I think there a little harder to toss around.
