Its getting near the end of the season and this is the first year I have had a EFI sled- What are your thoughts on sled storage? I head that running a injector cleaner on the last tank of gas would be a good thing. I have some STP fuel injector & carb cleaner kicking around but would like some feedback before i put it in my tank. Many thanks:canadaflag:

don't add nothing start your sled up once a month run for 5 to 10 mins , the more chemicals you put in your machine the more problems you create, use injector cleaner on the first ride next season, the fuel you buy now a days the shelf life is about 75 days after that its good for parts washing and killing weeds

add fuel stabalizer to your fuel tank on the last tank. you can either fog the engine or some people will start it once a month. first ride next season put some injector cleaner in it and depending on how many miles you put on change the fuel filter.

for injector cleaner........SEAFOAM hands down! but when you put it in use that tank up or a few after.......dont think it would be cool to let it sit in the sled over the summer......that is what fuel stabilizer is for......and yes we have shitty fuel now! I heard 3 months and it is not even worth running in your lawn mower lol.

IMO, Don't add anything, try to use up most of gas on last ride, park for summer, fill with new gas and add injector cleaner on first ride next season.
Got from reliable source, worst thing you can do is start and run them during the summer for few minutes, doesn't get engine up to operating temperature and can actually cause condensation to form inside engine, then who nows what can happen.
