What did you do to your UTV today?

:beer:Got all the fluids changed out! Which was needed bye the looks of the rear diff oil wow was it dirty for under 700km. And welded up the muffler that was slit 90% around both ends. So everyone with a 900 ranger check that to make sure yours don't look like mine! And if it does I work for beer! Now time to design some stuff for it that has been put off to long! Oh and still need to put a bottle opener on the pull hitch!:beer::beer:

I'd have taken that muffler to pooooolaris and asked them WTF was up with it! Maybe a service bulletin out on it?

what did the front diff look like? I blew mine up In mclean creek last month. didn't even know it. went to check the Sprague and it was in pieces, gear was also pooched. If you replace sprague before it disintegrates, it costs $160, otherwise $1100.

It was just dirty. Not much on the magnet. Where and how you check the sprague?

front diff, when you change fluid. you will see metal in the oil, or you need to pull it out, I did, the u-joints were screwed, solid mud. pulled diff took it down to Bamm UTV, found the destruction. the front diff has the weak pot metal 800 Sprague. not good is better than the plastic some have but not much. the tacks I ran were real hard on front end parts.

That's the cheap cap that pushes into the end of diff. I caught mine on my 500 just at the very last moment! The brash bushing was gone out of the end of pinion shaft. And the sprague bearing was shot. So I machined at aluminum peace out of solid shaft and put a two roller bearing in there and aloud those to run in the oil I will get you pictures it cost me less then 50 bucks and is way tougher.

Busy day, finished installing viper max 4500 and ez steer this morning, roof windsheild , rock sliders and rear screen yesterday , going for a ride now to test it all out
