So I decided to remove my kicker. I am putting a portable one on. If anyone is looking for wicked deal on a kicker I got one. Panther steering, all the controls and key of course. Sips the fuel. Power tilt as well.

Well working on the boat has turned out to be a blessing. It’s been good to turn the stereo on, crack a beer and not listen or watch the news. Finished installing the heater last night. I opted to go with a bigger diesel tank. It holds 28 L. When I got my heater it also came with a remote. I got it programmed and I’m actually impressed. I could still control my heater 30 yds away. Not bad at all.

Looks good. I put 10L in my boat last year and ran the heater quite a bit, a few camping trips and never ran out. You’ll be good! I like the sounds of the remote I don’t have one but would be nice when sleeping in the boat

The tank that came with the heater was 10L. Plastic an I thought It was junky. The main reason for going bigger was all the fishing I do. With the main off and only running the kicker last year I missed having the heat. My wife especially. I’m really gearing up to camp out of the boat this year.

A diesel heater isn’t a option . IMO
LOL
Can’t have to much heat as it’s on a switch and can be shut off .

Diving into throttle cables. I have to get new ones. These ones don’t reach my new location. This looks like it’s going to be a real blast. Also taking the carpet off my dog house. I’m going to line-x it. I pulled a slime eel up last fall on the coast. I’m still trying to wash that slime off. So the carpet is going.

Hey guys. Well I’ve got quite a bit of stuff done in the last couple days. Installed and re-routed new shift and throttle cable. This boat came with its stock throttle down low, like down beside the seat. I’m 6’5 so when I’m standing a driving the throttle was almost 20” out of reach. So, it’s going up in the dash now. I wired and installed LED light strips under the gunnels. Really brightens things up. Mounted the heater control with a patch and carpet were the old throttle was. I will post some pictures tomorrow. I have a riser being built for for the new throttle as well.
