anyone see those 2 guys stuck WAY up on that hill down to the left of the lake with 2 or 3 guys highmarking above? very interesting to watch....

These are the people who will be in the news eventually. Do you see a trend here?
Mark my words. You will see cases of criminal negligence in the future, when a stuck sledder gets "carved out"

Keep a close eye on the Renshaw also. That was me you talked to on Chappel. Pulled that hill back in 1994 with a much smaller mod than I was riding Friday:d:d. Friday was a great day, lots of sun and played safe. Probably a good thing that area (lower lake and north of the above flags)has been taken over by the skiers as it has very high avalanch danger for unsuspecting peeps. Rode the Renshaw on Saturday. Bluebird day, went out the northeast corner and put on 145 km. There was also slides in areas that usually don't move to much. Stay off the big hills and out of terrian traps. Lots of safe sledding left yet in all areas, pay attention to surroundings and insure the sleds parked watching are in a safe area:beer::beer::beer:

Well then, let me say that the sled you were riding this W/E was the baddest machine I have ever seen! I would love to see what she climbs!! :mountainClimb:

The last groom for Chappell was Thursday night, due to rain on the south end of the valley. The trail is still good to go, but the beginning is just too thin and patchy for the groomer.

Allan and Clemina are good to go right from the toll booths, but expect dry parking areas.

Kindy gloomy around here this morning. Looks to maybe be bringing us some fresh, but the skies havent let go yet.

In other words finished for the year? So no grooming of Chappell for the Easter long weekend?

There will definately be fresh up top:d as I can see it falling now, but the trails are not %100 and we will not know for certain until Wednesday. Allan should be good to groom, Im heading out to look at clemina this morning, then again on Wednesday. Chappell is no longer being groomed as of now.

We understand the desire for groomed trails for the weekend and will do what we can to get them in shape if the snow and weather lets us.
