Rode Allan today, trail was in good shape (thanks Varda!). Snow right from the toll booth, parking lot is bare but hey it's Spring! Conditions were great in the Alpine! 6" to 10" of Freshy more in the trees! Wicked day, had some nice sun for 3 hrs. Enjoy the pics!

Currently snowing like a bugger in TOWN !

We will be doing an inspection on Clemina trail this morning with our grooming contractor and I will reupdate with the weekends grooming schedule, but the trails are so soft, its a fun ride anyway.

Chappell is no longer being groomed, BUT still has sick snow. Only the first switchback or two is bareish and then its good to go. Riders should expect to ride a km or two of mix rock and snow, but after that its all good.

Allan trail is still in good shape with only one bareish corner at about 6km mark. This trail will be groomed throughout the weekend.

Clemina trail does have some bare spots until the 3.5km mark, then the trail is awesome again. Roughly 8"-1' of snow everywhere and awesome riding conditions. As mentioned, we will be looking at this trail today to check grooming options.

This will be an awesome weekend

Pics are from Clemina yesterday, not the best shots, but had camera and sled trouble most of the day, so this is the best of what I got.

Wow, things change fast. Sun came out and now Ill be back to raking my lawn:confused:

Chappell is no longer being groomed. The snow is quite patchy for the first few switchbacks, but then the trail has excellent cover.

Clemina and Allan Creek will be groomed March 31, April 02&03 for the Holiday weekend

The parking areas are dry, but Allan and Clemina trails begin right away, although they may be a bit thin.

We are pushing the equipment to groom this weekend. Riders should expect warming, soft trails. Please be patient with staff, as we are doing our best to provide you with a decent trail.

Should be an excellent weekend.
Happy Holidays everyone and Ride Safe:d

Wow, we've got some great alpine conditions out there. Anywhere from 6" to a foot in most places and great spring sledding.

Just throwing up a note that we can no longer groom the clemina creek trail. The trails very patchy up to 3km with a good dose of exposed gravel and a little bit of a swamp:eek:.

Allan will be groomed tonight again and numbers depending, it will be groomed again for modnay

Ride Safe !

My friend was stoppped family day weekend and his trailer brake was not working 100% no big deal it's a one ton hauling 2 sleds. Made him have it towed into town which was visible from the spot. We ended up that day with tickets for our sleds being secured improperly. Like the cop would know we've been doing this a few more years than him ha ha

Fugger's. Why don't they do something useful? Like look for the crack hores stealing our belongings. I guess that its because those crack heads have no money, so lets pick on the sledders that actually do contribute to their community. Why not issue a warning informing us of the infraction, or have us secure it differently and tie on a red ribbon on or something? Just pisses me off these guys.

sorry guys, we have absolutely no control over that and we have made suggestions, but it may fall on deaf ears..........

Yes, clemina trail is perfect after 3km

Alpine conditions are amazing with 8"-1' in most places
