best bet would be to google a diagram of the furnace and see how they show getting access to it.

i cant say how for your particular furnace but thermocouples typically r&r fairly easily. When you buy your new thermocouple get 2. They always fail when you least want them 2.

Blow into the burner with good air flow..

Rust and dirt covers the burner-pilot. Won't light that way.

Pilot has to be going before main gas flow.

Also have seen the micro sail switch not work. It's a safety to make sure the pre fan before gas kicks in.

if its a fairly new unit , i would say the circuit board is pooched, or check the sail switch, this switch detects air movement, no switchy no sparky

are you running off your batteries or converted from 120v? If the batteries are low enough to cause the fan not to reach ideal rpm, the furnace won't ignite. At least that's what I read about my suburban furnace.

If your batteries have been disconnected and you have switched around the + and - every thing will work but the furnace the fan turns backward and will not light.

does the furnace click once or does it click many times like its trying to ignite. Thermocouples don't exist in a dsi furnace. does the fan run? if so can you smell gas coming out when it try's to light? let me know i work on these everyday so i can help you out.

B.s. dude. If its a newer furnace with a circuit board motor will never turn backwards. Even if u switch + and - to the furnace. It's smart enough to straighten itself out.

Just had one at work with a bad board. No matter how u had it hooked up it turned the right way.

Thats a new one, I'm sure fuses would pop or your battery goes boom

If the blower is working and it is trying to ignite you can eliminate the sail switch and the high limit switch. Problem is likely the board not telling the gas valve to open. The dsi furnace uses a flame sense through the ignitor wire. It can also be possible the ceramic is cracked around the ignitor and is arcing out
