Can also be a bad regulator or bottle. Only proper way of testing is with a manometer.

Can you unhook the pilot tube from the gas valve(or take the allen screw out on main burner side) and see if gas comes out when it tries lighting? If it has a direct spark igniter it probably doesnt have a thermocouple. AS stated earlier it probably has air in line.

All right will put my 2cents in as the gas instructor if its dsi is continuos retry or does it try 3 times and quit if its the later you have to break power to reset the board this might happen on a bottle change out as it try's to purge the air from fuel line if its the ( sail switch) either a poss or neg micro air switch then unplug it and touch the wires together if it fires then you know it's the switch if not then most likely it'd the dsi ignighter rod this device turns a/c into d/c and sends a micro amp signal back to ignition module and allows the thing to fire ( ie proves pilot which in turn allowed the gas to flow on the main burner) if your still stuck Mach 123 is a plumber gas/ fitter on here or you can give me a call at Sait 403 210 4597 I have no classes tomorrow until 2

Another thing to check would be the outside vent. My garage furnace had a colony of visitors this summer & built a bee nest in the outside vent plugging all off & my igniter would not allow it to lite.

if its a fairly new unit , i would say the circuit board is pooched, or check the sail switch, this switch detects air movement, no switchy no sparky

I have not read through this thread but as WIN said.... 9 times out of ten it is the circuit board on these newer furnaces. I have replaced two in mine over the last 3 + years, when pulling through heavy rain or snow fall they get moisture on them and they are not moisture friendly!!

Disconnect power (make sure its not in lock out). Make sure all your limits (high limit, pressure switch, sail switch etc... are good, they are all wired in series so power should flow through all of them and come back to the board or the unit won't fire ) . If power is going through all the safety limits, then turn it on and when the ignitor starts check for power at the gas valve. We just installed a new atwood heater in my cousins enclosed trailer, all limits were good, so i jumped 12volt direct to the gas valve and it fired right up. Turns out the relay on the board wasn't sending power to the valve. Got a new board and it's good to go. Make sure you test all limits first before putting 12 volt to the gas valve, they are safety devices and they are there to prevent fires/ explosions. Also don't put 12volt to the valve until the ignitor is on or it will fill the heat exchanger up with gas and go WOOOOF. Good luck.

Tried resetting the power, same. tried jumpering the micro switch at back of furnace, same. I took the propane line off at furnace and there was a small amount coming through.

Pull the board out and take to any RV dealer and they can test it with a dsi board tester

This is where I would start also. Easy to check.

Also not sure if you tried this yet or not but maybe try closing the bottle and opening it again. The regulator sometimes gets stuck or the emergency valve closes if the gas rushes through too fast. Other than that it could be a multitude of problems than have been previously mentioned. Sometimes you just have to throw parts at it.......
