Most people don't panic until dark and helis don't fly at night big shoots.

Dont follow tracks.
You wont end up in Homers Hole trying to get out when its late.
Just saying!

Nice reset again from yesterday and last night.
Low cloud/fog kept the riders at cabin or below.

Rode fresh and untracked all day over the bumper.

More to come if forecast is right.

I would not come to Revelstoke right now.
To deep and very cloudy and foggy.
Save your money till clearer days. He He!

Cat trying to climb trees.
Inpalled hed on going down.
Notice the 2 ladies first to help with the rescue.

Lots of fun being thrown around as they both were on Polaris.

In them hills.
Rolled into town this evening stars are out, Forecast is poor for the weekend. I must say tho I don’t think I’ve seen this much snow in town for atleast 4/5 years hope it’s a deep winter.
Good till Sunday night.
Stability is gonna take a **** with the snow load and the cold snap.

I was think the other day that I hadn't seen that much snow since 07/08 in town.

Have fun, gonna be epic.

I had as much snow in my yard in 2017 only it was March not the beginning of January! Hired a skid steer yesterday to clean my yard out so I have some place to put snow again! It is an epic year for sure.

07 was a big year. I didn't sled yet but that's when the year the ski hill opened and we went and checked it out. Driving through Malakwa the snowbanks were so high it was like being in the Pine Pass near Powder King.

It was cool up top and snowing hard today. Tough conditions as everyone had goggle issues today. The back is feeling it tonight! Lol

Doesn't it suck getting older?
14 days straight riding for me and had to take some days off. Hard t do when snow was so deep.
The days of riding hard like a 20 year old are gone,

Gotta ride hard today and tommorrow before the real cold temps hit next week!

Looks like we will get a break in the weather and have some visibility today.

With all the days of deep deep snow this year, how long until we see a 185" sled?

Would be neat to see a 186, but the 174’s seem to be scarce machines anymore even. The 165 seems to be an ideal Mtn machine. IMO.

-13 in town with wind at 50km/hr. Gusting to 72. Windchill is -26.
Wind warning in effect.

-26 at 2000 meters. Not sure of the upper winds.

Be prepared today folks if heading up the hill.
Never hurts to have extra layers in your pack if you need it.

To cold for this old guy!

Stay safe and check your daily avalanche conditions.
Ride safe!

If you are riding today please be careful. Ride with a group you trust. Stick together. Carry radios. Don’t drop anything you aren’t 100% certain you can get out of. The snow is insane deep right now and these are not the conditions that you want to spend the night in.
