Figured it would be worth providing a little update from riding this weekend. Went into turtle Friday up the front, back to the chutes and went to have lunch at the eagles cabin. Access still pretty good on Kirkup but starting to melt good with this weather. Parked at 7kms both days. Rode Boulder yesterday. Still lots of fun riding out there. Our crew climbed swenson street and the turtle chutes

Well, took a venture up Boulder today. Had an awesome day and cleared up in the afternoon. Staged at 15km on kirkup and only rode a few short gravel patches before solid snowline. 3’ at the cabin, anywhere from 120-180 up top still. Still lots of snow, access will begin to be a problem soon depending on how much the sun comes out. One more ride tomorrow and I’ll be putting it away for the year. Stretched my season over 9 months this year. October 25th to June 13th.

Dumb question, Eagle Cabin you spoke of is that the one at Eagle Pass Sicamous. I've been there several times but never Turtle. Took my boys to Eagle Pass couple years ago and Stephen said sure he'd been to Eagle Pass cabin before but he had started out in Revelstoke.

Turtle and Eagle Pass are actually connected. Haven't done that ride but many on here have. Its possible for sure.

They are closer togerther than one would think. But on deep days that’s a long ride from turtle the doghouse chute by Eagle Pass cabin. Done it a few times when the snow is right. Need to make sure you have enough fuel to get all the way back to Boulder parking lot

Yeah you either need a fuel stash or I've heard of guys getting someone to run their trucks and trailers down to either end. Be a long day going back and forth.

That would be a good trip. Good country back in there.

Even on a deep day, it’s doable on a tank of fuel from Boulder lot to eagles cabin if you dead head. Need to go with someone who knows it and have perfect vis, the pass between the two is all 7500’ plus. Also a sketchy avy corner that takes proper terrain awareness with high consequence
