Rained hard in town this afternoon.
By the looks of the snow line it may not have rained up top.
Have not talked to anyone yet who rode today. Was a shop day for us.
8 degrees in town.
This is March weather.....Unbeleivable\
Ski hill chairlifts were also closed due to high winds...

Read in another thread rain went o the top at Eagles in Sicimous.

I hope it didn't wreck the snow up top but those temps probably tightened up the top layer pretty good,

Thanks for the replies! Had some friends out there who finally replied. Said it tightened it up but still decent and snowing when they came down. I’ll post an update Monday evening! Cheers!

Was pretty good. Below tree line was perfect. Zero tracks in this sweet little zone.

Conditions today:

Pros
Trails set up really good. Like a cement highway.
Cons Overheated sleds. Burnt sliders for some. Really hard on mountain tracks if you are a speedster and spin out on every corner.

Snow today:

Pros Drive anywhere and be a hero. Hard pack settled with about 2 inches of fresh. Froze drastically all over mountain.
Cons Down hills were a skating rink. Smacked up new turbo sled in trees that looked like a squashed melon off a mexican truck, poor fellow.
Gonna need a helluva reset.

The rain crust isn’t everywhere. Just got back. We rode a zone yesterday that has soft pow. But yes the snow is Roached compared to how it was. I’m at Home now for 3 days or so until the reset comes

Snowed a bit last night.
Had to go to zipper back meadows/hills to get bumper deep. LOL.
Team USA had a great day and were suprisingly not hung over from super bowl.....
Hard layer underneath all over mountain. But at least some sun shine.
Wife did a snow dance for me. She said it will work and not to come home. BWHAAA!
Reload should be coming.
Gonna get cooler tonight again.

Just a heads up that starting Feb 10th-16th the RCMP have a "Traffic safety campaign" during this week they will focus on the following.

"Next week: Recreation vehicle enforcement: sleds, ATV, UTV registrations, and Vehicle Identification Number checks) and secure cargo and trailers (lights, plates, safety), straps on loads, animals in backs of trucks and secure campers in truck boxes (appropriate methods of securing the loads)."

Just thought i would post this for everyone... so get all your paper work in order as well as trailer safety equipment working and know the rules on securing your sleds and other cargo.

Revy RCMP have been in the parking lots talking with sledders.
talking about locking gear and securing things at night and in the lots when you go up the mountain..
Asking about safety equipment to have for your day trips and providing suggestions.

Really nice folks and are looking out for the sledding community.
Say hello and chat with them.

Have not heard of any real problems(Theft) in town, but I think they are doing a proactive approach.

Nice to know they are looking out for us and our possesions.
