Dealer satisfaction comes down to " The individual"s relationship with said dealer".
I've had some issues with my "dealer" and had to buy my sled from someone else, but I still deal with my dealer for all of my parts and consumables. Will I buy another sled from them, YES.... because overall they have been great to deal with.

Haters are gonna hate. That's just the way of the world.

this statement sums it up for anything any one buys, it could be vehicle, snowmobile, boat, ATV, UTV, or god only knows what else. It is 100% about that individuals relationship with that dealership, or a specific individual at said dealership.

A dealer who charges for services not done, selling used machines as "brand new", etc is more than just a tarnished relationship with one individual. Not only would I want to know about it, I'd tell everyone I know. That said, I can appreciate how hard it is to moderate this sort of thing.

Exactly. I think it's natural for forums to have guys venting. It's pretty easy to spot when one guy is just being a whiner, but if there's a dozen guys with the same issue then it's probably a legitimate problem. Lots of guys have posted about certain aftermarket parts breaking or just in general being not worth the money they paid but those threads usually stay up. In my mind censorship is an all or nothing deal, selective censoring is extremely tough to do without being labelled biased. So either all negativity is censored or none of it is. In my opinion(not that it's worth much) it should be the latter.

Most negative threads about vendors are almost self moderated anyways. If your full of it then you're going to be called out. If your a good dealer then you'll have a good reputation. Look at t&t, I've never seen a bad word about them, and there's quite a few people on here who have dealt with him. I know he's smaller then the city dealers but people should be smart enough to realize that as good as some dealers are, with the big volume dealers there's bound to be someone with complaints. It should be up to the members to decide what to believe, we're all adults (or at least most of us) and therefore should be capable of making decisions lol

Terry's not perfect.... there have been minor issues, hiccups and errors.... what matters to me is that he (and his staff)actually care and will do what is needed to make it right most often to the point of over and above. Errors/Mistakes/Issues will happen, how they are dealt with is what matters.

Pretty sure anyone who has vocally complained about Martin hasn't been dealing with Trent or they haven't given him fair opportunity to make it right. Not to say he is the only quality sales person there but he obviously isn't about keeping a low profile and maintains a loyal client base.

When given the opportunity I've seen T Team go out of his way to deal with issues / hic ups.

Same for T&T.

Again like BOGGER said its about relationship with your dealer.

A calm tactful approach usually will get the same respectful return. Jump down a guys throat and being disrespectful you'll probably get the same in return.

Exactly Boggs. Everyone makes mistakes. Its human nature. Its how you rectify those mistakes that makes the difference in your business. Well said!

I've never dealt with Trent but he has basically the same reviews as terry so I'm sure he is great to deal with. What I'm saying is that when those a-holes who complain without talking to the dealer first come on here it should be up to each user on snow and mud to decide for themselves whether it's bs or legitimate. And I agree completely. Sometimes stuff happens that's out of the dealers control or yeah mistakes get made but that happening once in a while doesn't make a bad dealer. Just like if we saw one bad thread about a dealer no one (or not many) would automatically write that dealer off as somewhere not to go. If we automatically delete the thread, then the guys who do have good service there(or the dealers themselves) don't get a chance to talk about the good parts of the story, or the way to rectify the issue.

I could tell you a story about t&t but I like to tell story's about good experiences more then bad ones. That's why I like telling people to go see T-team!

I appreciate this feedback people, this gives us a lot to go on. With this info so far looks like we need to do some work here as well. There will be some changes to some of the moderation of the site in the near future as I would like to move forward with this and grow. This sometimes is a tougher job that the one I work regularly at and get paid for.

We will be adding more moderators to the site and will be managing these issues in a better fashion as well. Thanks for your understanding.
