Recent Bashing, Animosity towards certain vendors and information

Has anyone thought of talking to the owner about this guy? If I was the owner I would like to know what you guys thought of my employee so I could talk to him or move him out.

I agree! I have had more problems In there accessories dept, than the parts dept. people there are dirt bikers mostly very few ride sleds. no idea how you can have problem with parts dept, they either have it or don't! they have their price, pay it or go somewhere else!. service dept is so so. sales people are good,
don't think ol ponytail(bob) is family? just an old time employee. just think a few have there panties twisted a little tight. I remember a thread from a hero on here about being pissed because said hero had to wait 20-30 minutes for a salesman on a busy saturday morning. lol haha the world stopped that day because he just had to wait.

I don't believe this is the case as often as some think. I and several of my friends have all been in there at one time or another going in with a good chipper attitude and then left sour just due to the way that guy and some of the others in there sometimes talk to and treat you. Like your inconveniencing them by trying to get parts. Some days he has been better than others, but on the whole his people skills are lacking and usually is pretty quick to rub folks the wrong way in a hurry. Just what I have experienced and seen even when just standing in line waiting.

FWIW when dealing with parts, service or sales people I don't consider myself an entitled jack-wagon at all. I respect and treat them as I would expect to be treated. Come at me with an attitude and it won't take long for me to dish it right back however. More often than not I feel it's usually the clown behind the counter that is the self entitled jack wagon instigating the customer into getting confrontational.

I know sometimes not everyone is peaches and cream when they come in to the store, but that's to be expected in the retail industry and the right people need to be behind the counter to just make it about a transaction and not a personal issue. You don't know what kind of day the other party has had on either side of the counter so that needs to be realized and respected that it likely isn't personal although there are some people out there that are just arseholes to everyone including their family. No getting anywhere with those types. I feel short fat ponytail has more bad days than good.

I do believe I know the dealership in question. I won't say names because I don't want my fingers slapped...but it rhymes with purple mothers. It kills me to have to deal with that short fat bald headed pr!ck in the parts department....I'll stand in line letting people in front of me until a different parts person is available.

I agree completely. Sales team was great to deal with. Service and parts is enough to make me travel 4 hours from now on. I know people think it's just some whiners complaining about a bad experience but when one dealer has 3 threads started saying how they have gone above and beyond and another had multiple people choked right up about an experience there has to be more of a reason then they are complainers.

Call it ranting or bashing or whatever you want. If service is a big party of your business and you piss people off in that department the word will get around. And personally I feel its my choice to not spend money where people treat me like an a-hole. And if asked about a dealer ill give my honest opinion like it or not.
