like Grinder says.my 99 Silverado 5.3 has over 500,000 now. battery is $160 a EV wont last 25 yrs period. and batterys are 10 to 30 thousand.

500,000km on a truck that gets 16mpg.
14.7L/100km
73,500 L of gasoline

I get 14 too 17 mpg on my junk wagon...

I was rocking the mountains with a 14 ish ton trailer and the mighty beast was showing number's in the 5 to 7 mpg

I was sad

: (

But once I got there I was happy...

; )

Billy big rig,,, - 40c trailer with a pig propane bottle,,,

2 sleds and 100 days of pure glory...

That's too Long sled-ing so I said id never do that again...

The next run was 220 days of fluff threw out bc,,, burnt a $4!+ ton of fuel that year...

$$$$ ÷ by good-times = No Charge...

One way or the other were going too pay...

I think K's number's are spot on...

A light foot normally produces good fuel milage...

3 examples are :

F-150 with aspirated 6 could see 27 too 38 mpg with minimal tune...

The young tuning fellow at Clive AB bought the credit (s) for his Cummins with results of 28 too 32 mpg if he taps it kool,,, he got it into the 40's but that's too lean he said...

The little car i bought the other day shows 6.0 too 6.2 L/ per 100 k...

If I cup-cake it,,, it's 5.4 too 5.6 L / per 100...
55 ish mpg imperial factory...

A simple tire change,,, cheap flash normally pushes them into to 60 + mpg range ...

I follow the olds guys tuning :

Open up air flow
Change tire size
Smooth out aerodynamics
Slow down
Acceleration slow
Run the hills
Draft on windy days
Never let tranny drop a gear
( Try ) too keep engine in optimum performance range...

I do this on the lowest grade fuel...

The newer Chev diesel with the 550 hp tune's are incredible on fuel mileage...

The older Detroit Diesel 60 Series 515hp engines will get 13 to 15 mpg with the double/ double or the double & a 1/2 so long as the gear ratio is correct...

A light-loaded Aluminum tri-axle low-boy...

The freightliner sees the 15 mpg imperial when 2 axles are lifted empty... $600 ish dollar rounder from Calgary to Mission and back delivering loads 1-way,,, tug trailer back empty...

Thats phenomenal mileage for 40.000 lbs

My friend new custom-built Cat C-15 at 625 hp gets 10 too 11 imperial mpg loaded or empty...

It also get 1.6 too 2.0 mpg packing 220. 000 + lbs permited winter loads <--- those are impressive number's for sure...

Got too run,,, keep the big wheels rolling

Either i burn lots of fuel or next too nill ,,, it depends on how heavy my foot is... lol
