what's with the private campsites you go there for a weekend you get a list of rules and a group of campers come in and party till 2 or 3 let there dogs not dog run all over the campsite and not 1 person does anything if your not going to inforce the rules then don't make them if you want to party till 3 and let your dogs run free then randem camp out in the back some where we have 2 small kids we don't need your friendly dog scaring them

I USE to have a problem such as the one you had, the partying doesnt bother me in the least in fact i will grab a chair and sleep right at the fire, please just toss an extra one on when you goto bed, i throw one on when i wake up... the run loose dogs are normally the issue , dont have an issue with them running , normally they are running from one of my kids anyhow... BUT it is some people who choose not to clean up after the dog. Well i have still have one kid in diapers, your dog craps in my spot my kid craps in yours , Sound fair??

Agreed people who dont clean up after their dogs drive me crazy!! I should put it in the pet peeves in the honeys section!! Not only at campsites but public parks even dog parks!! I take my dogs out all the time and I have this little poopbag dispenser thing that clips to their collar very handy......

Talking to the partiers is best........ kind of a pain to get up and go stomping in on thier party....... but I have done that random camping before,,,,,,,, The dog thing is a no brainer,,, I am sure the owners or maintainance ppl dont want to be picking up doggy poo or have resposable campers bothered, they may not know??? so just tell the owners,,,,,, it's easy!!!

Awe I'm sorry ur weekend was ruined by a bunch of jerks.... u have opened my eyes and next time I won't just "" with it I will take the time to read it.... But may still let my dogs run free as they listen very well and come when called.

I won't even ask about the partying till 3am cause from the sounds of it I might not even be able to keep up to the rest of yous!!!!

Yah I thought about that for myself but my mama is coming with her dog and she wont be quading much anyway but I guess i should check with kerry!!

Just remember, it's not the dog's fault - it's the retard owner of the dog. Used to nail the neighbours dog with a shot of water from the garden hose when I found it in my yard and then thought about it more... and got the neighbour with it next time he came over to retrieve his mutt.:d

We were at machesis and yes we partied till about 3 one night and we had one of our 3 dogs off leash as he is "friendly" and a puppy well 5 months. I really do apologize if it was us.

And for future reference if someone(s) was ruining my camping weekend I (being an adult) would go ask the other campers to quiet down please and leash their dog!! Then me probably being the annoying neighbor would apologize profusely and comply. But if it was some little bastards then I would probably complain to the camp attendant......just sayin

Dont U kind of conderdict yourself? I beening a adult would know the rules and have respect for others camping. I beeing the adult and not have to be told how to behave...just saying! I have not camped alot but it does seam to be a pretty standard set of rules across the bourd does it not?

I have dogs, it to me is totaly a respect for others. I love my dog...that does not mean everyone else in the world does. As for as the ch!t, I clean it up...and there is a alot of it, so when I see some clown with a little purse dog and they dont clean it up, I freak! "not to saw they are the only afenders" it just seams more commen to me!

I for one dont mind dogs just keep it on a leash and clean up after it takes a crap. We take our Sheltie with us, keep him on a leash and clean up after him, he loves to quad.

If someones dog leaves a present in our camp stall I usually pick it up with a shovel and will deliver it to his rightful owners camp stall, if it happens more than once then it ends up on the drivers seat of the unlocked truck or car or quad seat. Only takes once and the message usually sinks in, some reason dogs learn faster than some owners do.
