Hopefully i get a few more years out of Princess...

Best $800 dollar unit in Our fleet,,, alot of miles and zero rust...

Shes on a diet of gear-oil / diesel-fuel mix 2 or 3 X's a year...

Just getting ready for the next spray job...

A person can't apply enough mix for Alberta's conditions...

I got a chance too run a ford 1 ton with the 7.3 Godzilla engine for a few thousand miles threw the mountains...

6 speed auto with lock up gears in manual mode...

14 too 15 mpg rugging it all day at 7 tons all in...
Its actually the only unit ive run this year with that kind of power too fuel milage consumption...

It was a beast on the climbs,,, throw it into 6th manual mode,,, pick-up some sailing speeds and sift up those grades like nothing...

If the unit needed more grunt id drop it into 5th then fly over the top of the Mountains like nothing...

The trick is too get the crank-shaft spinning...

The rotating mass of that crank would rip the arms off a Grizzly Bear like nothing...

The V-10's are ok but they 8 piston units have something going for them...

I hope they stuff a few of them in 1/2 tons with over-drive... lol

20240924_110719.jpg

Its worth more now that its broke in... 12 years on the engine oil,,, brakes and steering never been touched...
20240924_110731.jpg

Frame and wheel wells are in mint condition...

20240924_110735.jpg

It has a slow speed engagement tranny but the ac and radio still work...
20240924_110948.jpg

Yes it has a few small things here and there but over all ( Old Snow Ball ) has cost us nothing...

20240924_110802.jpg

Its great on fuel,,, starts at -40 bellow...

Best 200. 000 thousand mile beat'er going,,, and its still water proof in the cab,,, its all about the arm rests...

Its getting ready for some touch up paint...
20240924_110750.jpg

The old girl can still pack it...
20240924_113659.jpg

Kind of floopy on the hwy with 20 psi in the one rear tire...

147 kpr in 4th gear,,, I bet see can still do 160 with slip tank full...

Fuvk You Copp'ers... lol

Yuppers,,, call it go and run ( Old B@!!'zzz till she dies...

My friend has all the parts cheap if I keep her running...

$1 buck here and $5 bucks there,,, nothing more then that since these old fords are built like a rock...

I wouldn't be suprized if it his the 1 million mile mark if I live long enough...

Dam thing will bring $40 or $60 k at Barrett Jackson because it has all the original parts. And the factory window which is in good condition for its age...

Old Snow Ball is a rare collectors item even with the rust...

Rust brings it home !

Find what you need and run it...

Cheers Gang

Yes,,, my friend is doing the 1 lifter and the deleted gasket kit so its a 8...

Always the same piston on the chevys

Drivers side rear...

This is the last time he does a in-house fix,,, we'll pull the front clip and cab next time,,, it takes 2 1/2 hours...

At least he won't be hunched over like a monkey...

And talk about shrapnel...

Way beyond my skills,,, 4 too 5 hours of prep just too buckle it up,,, the shop was going too charger 16 + hours... Ouch...

The 8 piston ford is the way too go,,, its about the only engine in the market that doesn't have the b.s.

Our other friend snuffed a V.V.T hemi,,, $14 + k

Yes they are, a old gal owned this unit and had it fully serviced over the years,,, summer time unit

Everything is new and it's cheap...

I'm ok with that,,, I'm not worried about a breakdown since my friend can hammer those things together like nothing...
20240925_133146.jpg

Nice thing about them is he can unbolt the brackets and drop the complete unit on the ground ...

It will never break down the way I drive...

I like the fuel mileage on it,,,it will be easy too get across Canada and the usa,,, tour around Mexico on the pan handle... lol
