Week 7. Power is on, plumbing roughed in. Roofers should be done today or tomorrow. Next on the list is basement floor.

Looks good Crazy8, what type of shingles did you use. How tall is the roof in the great room. We made ours 12 ft so we could do the window all too.

I'm hoping to get heat in the basement this week to get the prep work done, then spread all the gravel, install insulation and tubing, then find a concrete flatwork guy to pour.

How tall is the roof in the great room. 5/12 pitch on the vaulted ceiling, puts it about 15 ft at ctr of vault

It's a good time to do a floor for sure, they won't be busy. My dad use to do them, but guys do them for nothing not even worth it anymore. Plus I hate basement floors......

Heard guys pouring floors for 75C sq/ft or less depending on the size.

Did you try Weiss Johnson? My Uncle is an estimator there and I am think they do custom install.

Not yet....I've two quoting on the job...if they fall through I will. Thanks.

Good so far. We had to get creative for the gas cooktop vent and they were very willing to do extra tin bashing to get it like I wanted it.


Siding guy coming by this morning to look at the house. Wish it was done already.:d
