Wow.. the in-floor is super nice, but that’s a lot of connections. Can’t imagine the leaks after 5-10 yrs of use.

I do like the fact that you used a router to “bury” the lines. Been think of a system like this for years. If you installed the lines under the sheeting, then spray foamed the bottom, do you think the heat would be the same?

I think the heat would be close,, But if i did it under the sheeting ( would still router them in ) i would use 5/16 line and it would give a little more even heat ( you can feel a bit of difference with bare feet ) And I originally went with 2 inches of spray foam then went to 4 inches and there was quite a difference, The system is 5 years old this year and the only leak was from hose clamps needing retightening , used a really soft copper because it's expansion rate was very low and its longevity in industrial applications was really good

And you could also have something like nudo flooring on top that lasts very well and carbides don't cut into

Does anyone in the Calgary area have one of these Chinese knockoff air heaters mounted in their trailer? I’d like to see one in action (especially right now when it’s damn cold outside)

This was tested 1 inch from outlet

It will heat my enclosed no problem

We sold the Cargo Mate about 7-8 years ago and bought an all aluminum 2020 Snow Pro 20x8.5 with a 45k propane furnace, led lighting, corner cabinet with a battery and a converter that I installed, hanger rack, and spare tire. The floor has some kind of coating on it that protects it from getting torn up by our sleds. 1 man door, 2 windows, roof vent and 2 fuel doors.
