If you or your other business already own said trailers and are looking make a few bucks while they are sitting idle, that could work. I don't see this as a viable side hustle though. It would need to be a full time, committed business to be worthwhile, in which case sledders would probably be a very small demographic.
Trailer storage on the other hand, I would think to be very worthwhile, it is here at least. I don't live in Edmonton though.

How much does a trailer rent for a day? U haul is like 20$ maybe 50$.

Sound like a PITA and unless you have a ton of trailers to rent. Wont be making much$$ either.

Not sure how much free space you have, but might be better to use it for storing future equiptment for your real business.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

More like $100/per day for a 2 place open and $150-$200 for a 2 & 4 place enclosed

Well thats a little bit better. But you can get an enclosed trailer from uhaul for 50.

Even you get 150$ still sounds like a PITA to me.

Rent out all 4 trailers every Thursday for $550-ish, not a bad little side income, if you have the time to doo it?

Would definitely cut into Sean's riding time.

He says he has a whole team of profesionals working for him already.

I can tell you 550 a day is fk all when youre running something like that.

Maybe it would be a good side hustle for him i doubt it though.

I have lots space, and a bunch of trailers sitting around and wouldnt think of renting them.

Every time someone borrows them they come back broken...

Poor management if your trailers are coming back broken and your not holding back their damage deposit.

None the less........... It's Sean's thread and his decision

Sounds like more of a headache than a side hustle. Build some covered storage instead and store boats/RVs charge a premium for being covered and in town (if it's in town). Once that's paid for add some doors and heat and really crank up the charges.

Well… I think the storage unit idea might make some money and have less hassles?

Boys with toys can charge 180,000.00 for a 20’x50’ bay 18’ tall… in Spruce Grove lol

In all honesty, if the yards on the east side… I’d like to rent a corner to park boats/trailers of my own! Everything I own has a trailer or wheels under it…

i have a new yard and shop in edmonton that has an abundance of extra space that im trying to figureout what to do with. I was thinking of picking up a couple open deck trailers, maybe a couple enclosed in a few sizes and renting them out.

My question is, does anyone actually rent trailers or for the most part does everyone have their own stuff? i was kind of thinking between a group of 4 guys the chances of them needing a trailer is slim?

you can rent enclosed and open trailers in Edmonton but none are really setup for snowmobiling.

Thanks!
If there HAULING Doo Laiders and or Ski Doos Not Interested at all............
