Trade the twin pipes for a stock 99 pipe, you will probably be happier. Leave the rotary valve alone on the X. Gear it down, slip a 151 under it and ditch the secondary for a cat roller.

I found it nearly impossible to find a stock pipe for an x when I was looking. I guess the motor angle was different in the x than in the regular summit so the pipe is different (or at least that's what I was told at the time) might as well stick with what you have and get the jetting figured out IMO

Your only camera is a GodPro, ..I mean go pro? You'll have a sore right thumb as long as you own that sled with it's wicked satin hard throttle!
We used to call this one "Crazy Ski". I still have a sore thumb when I look at the photo's! Haha

Haha thats the FIRST thing I noticed on my first ride, it pulled like a bastard once it was going! Just lags off the line, with a hill or over a driveway it would stand straight up and down no problem, I love the sled, and if I keep it for a few seasons I will stretch it, find a stock pipe, clutch it and make it look a lot nicer than it does now, really excited for it. I have always had yamaha's, I LOVE yamaha, still do, but I guess change is always nice, interested to work on something beside a 700 triple red head hahaha I am happy with the Summit, thats for sure

Its strapped down real good, I see what you're saying, but she don't move, I have had to spike the brakes (on dry pavement) and it didn't flinch, check the straps pretty well everytime I stop

I had a 1994 2500 cummins for 3 years, best truck I ever had without a doubt, wish I had have never sold it, but needed out of debt, and I knew it would sell quick. Gotta do what ya gotta do. Now I am more well off, so I am looking for one again haha

i have to question how that sled will stay put on a wooden deck when you hammer on the breaks? from what i can see here every one of your straps is pulling that sled forward towards the cab, you should at least have the front two straps pulling back away from the cab

on the back there is one strap that goes up and over the bumper/tunnel and down the hitch. It doesn't move even a little bit
