could call ahead and get texs approval! good as gold
Hey there, I just sold my Yamaha 2000 inverter camo last week on Kijiji, had 107hrs on it, was great for charging batteries plus watching TV etc at the same time. As a HVAC mechanic myself I would not attempt to run a A/C with it, that would require at least a 3000W to be safe depending on A/C size. It was quiet, however I recommend the 3000W simply because the housings actually have insulated panels rather than single wall plastic which makes the 3000W ones run a little quieter.
This is the interwebs dude. Everyone knows everything about everything. Why would you say not to run my ac on it if you don't know what size of system I have?

I also have the Yammi 2400iHSC....great genny. At the time I bought it, it was the smallest you could get that would start an AC unit on a trailer. Used mine lots on 3 trailers. Used to just tuck it under the slide on my trailers.....so quiet you can't hear it inside. Still have it, but never use it as I have built-in Onan gennys on my last 3 mohos.I have the yamaha 2400 hc inverter. As quiet as the 2000 Hondas, small and light enough to move alone and will start most a/c units easily.
I was thinking of doing this also. Keeps it out of site as wellAlso has anyone made an enclosure for their generator to reduce the noise? Before we got a Honda at our cabin we had an enclosure on our old loud POS and wow it made a difference.
Also for those interested carry 3 or 4 pieces of plywood to lean against the generator. Tests on loud 80dBa units have decreased them to 70-72, cheap/easy for us cheap people! It still offers lots of ventilation too.

I just got it. Im scared to lose it by leaving it in the bush lolI run 100 foot cord into the bush. Hear nothing
Just a heads up... it's actually called a HARD start capacitor. If your generator can't start your ac try installing a soft start capacitor. Easy and cheap to do.
