It's mostly copper, boron, and other micro-nutrients (magnesium and some other stuff I think). We put a bit with the blend on the entire field, but a little extra in certain areas prone to some diseases definitely seems to make a big difference for us.
Cool. I learned something today. Lol.

So tell us, how doo you handle that mess? Get the rake and turn it into swathes again or just run it through the combine?
If you rake it you will lose more than 50 percent to shelling is my guess. I've always said with canola that 100 things can happen to it and 99 of them are bad.

My brother'n law, as of 5:00 p.m., only did just over 300 acres. They have 9 new S series JD'S in the field. Peace country got hit hard as well.

Hope those turbo's hold up for them. I guess they are having problems my Deere dealer told me.

I never thought about that problem but with the pods crispy a lot of them would break, eh!

friggin' Mother Nature can always throw a monkey wrench into the pile of things to doo it seems!

Can't see them either. Never seen an 11 bu/acre barley crop. Lol. I assume hail?
