I wanted a 50000 acre year with the sprayer and this is the year I got it done. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1346975632.422342.jpg
Plus I'm expecting another 2 to 3000 more before the fall is over.

Holy Crap. That's spraying my farm 9 times. I'm sick of it after the 5th time this year.

These sprayers are so big, that to make them any bigger they are going to have to build them with bowed spray arms that conform to the circular shape of the Earth.

How is everybodys harvest goin?

Ours is off and rolling. Got 220 acres corn harvested yield was 193 whole field average, and 20.5% moisture. Working on some continuous corn for the past 7 years now. Not exact on yield but it is less and moisture is running 25%. Soybeans will start in approx. 10 days to 2 weeks from now.

Continuous corn.... Does that mean it grows back every year?

No, it means we have planted corn there continuously instead of following a rotation. Usually its corn, beans, corn, beans etc. Continuous corn is corn, corn, corn, corn etc.

Hey Zeeb's, are you happy with these yield's?
I am into my second day of harvesting and my canola is running close to 50 bu.; this is totally surprising me because it did not have the stand to meet this yield; that is canola!

The 193, yes the 150, no. The continuous corn has been an experimental deal for the past 7 years to see if we can get corn on corn to yield like our rotation. At one time we thought we would move our operation to 3/4 or 100% corn from our current 50/50 rotation of corn and beans.

Although with the drought we have had this summer over all im surprised with corn yields. I think when we get to our beans we should have one of our best bean crops......time will tell though, ill keep you all posted.
