Anybody ever converted a self-propelled sprayer to a front fill by the right front axle? Want to do it to our 4730 but dont know where to come off the origional fill line and how to mount it to the axle. also I see on the side fill there is an inline filter so that means I want to use one for the front fill as well, or do I just move the origional one back?

Spring is almost here. Who is looking forward to it and what have you done to get ready or are you like us and just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit?

Has anyone underseeded behind an airdrill?I have a Deere 53' 1820 12" spacing with 4" semi pneumatic wheels with a tow behind 1900 tank.I need to underseed some barley with a hay blend and was wondering what to do!My old Flexi-coil was single shoot (9" spacing) with a Valmar on the tool which worked great for underseeding with a tow behind tank with a light set of packers pulled behind the tank.No need to land roll or harrow pack after seeding.I'm worried if I have them float my blend on my barley will be too deep if I land roll or harrow pack it after. How shallow shall I seed it to compensate or not work the hay blend in at all and hope it will catch!I hope to do about 250 to 300 acres!

Whatcha underseeding? If you blow the hay blend on before you seed the barley, and seed barley at 1" deep or less this should put the hayseeds around .5" deep which would be safe. i can shed alot of thoughts on this so pm me and i will give you my number to call

well contracked 400 acre of yellow mustard today at 40 cents, little less seed cost than canola, and plan to seed it this week, few guys started seeding already, going as well with dcanola, wheat, peas, prices look good in general, other than a few input cost higher than normal.... good luck to all

Who did you contract your mustard with Fred? I'm with Olds. I believe they had the best price this spring for contracted yellow mustard.

All we did was blew the hay blend on top with the air seeder then like what SledHead said, put the barley in at 1", it did pretty good, we did 80 acres like that. Then after we went over 40 acres with the harrow packer,,,, just to see the difference. The 40 that was packed had better quality and was a thicker crop
