Pretty awesome day in Blue Lake. Had a couple of really big stucks with a couple hours of digging, but the snow was great and we had an awesome day.

Back to back... Nosed it into the first hole, dug it out. Ripped out and when the front end came down it planted into another hole that none of us saw. Pure chit house luck. Still better than any day at work.
Hahaha. Amen to that. One of those stucks you just have to laugh at and carry on.

Been there a time or two.

I am not sure. We staged at 2km and rode the connector from Owls. If you have a deck, chains, and are nice to the booth attendant, they might let you up.
Bottom 2km are pretty much gravel and you don’t stop feeling rocks on the skis until 4km. From there up, trails are in amazing shape. Thanks to the groomer operators for a nice ride in, and out.

Does anyone have more information about the stage areas as we only have trailers and I don't want to ride 2km of gravel

They just say stage at the bottom no mention of snow or gravel. I know it's not been cold enough for snow down low.

Gotcha. Just the way you worded it thought you wanted to know if you could drive up to avoid the gravel. Someone else may chime in but I heard there was gravel at Owls for the first 2ish km.

We got about 10cm of low level snow in sicamous yesterday .was at blue today and there was enough snow cover down low and freshly groomed trail.

Rode blue today. Lots of fresh snow up top. We dropped down to the left of the lake... over 2'of wet fresh. Socked in up top but great visibility lower down. Also spent some time in the meadows past the training hill, good 2' of fresh to be found. Looks like it's supposed to warm up in the next few days tho...

Rode from bottom at owl yesterday. No gravel. Some ice for first few k with snow on it. Go easy on throttle. No trucks are going up. Could hear them going from the bottom this morning as well. Probably be chewed to the gravel by 10 am tomorrow.
We have snow on the ground in town.
