Rode Eagles on Sunday, snow is pretty good shape yet other then a ice layer like most hills have now, about 1/4" thick, the new snow will not bond well with it. The burn is shaping up but could use another good dump to really hide all the landmines but it is rideable. Was about 10-12 cm fresh snow first thing in the morning, snowed all day, was snowing when we left, close to 20-25 cm by end of the day I would say. We dug a pit and did a compression test, the new snow not really consolidated yet appeared to shift on the ice layer on the 2nd tap from the wrist, triggered another weak layer about 50 cm down on 4th tap from elbow. Gonna be high risk with another good dump.

No lack of fresh in Eagles today. Rained heavily until 18km. Trailers parking at bottom, decks at 1km. Thankfully saw some fresh in the trees on the way down to about 12km. Crusty layer is about 40cm down now depending what aspect you ride. Still some holes to fill in.

This weak / icy layer everyone is posting about is definitely concerning going into the Christmas break.. we are travelling down to Sicamous with a large group Dec 26th and will be riding between Sicy / Revy. Sounds like that layer could be there for the rest (or most) of the season now.

Ride safe everyone, pick your terrain wisely

Pots legal...can you imagine the rants he would have about dopers in the parking lots and cabins. Going to miss those.
Don't worry boys, can't sled but I can still be a lurker!!!! Miss the white stuff allot , sled safe people! I would have said boys but someone would have blamed me for being prejudice or something! The only good thing about weed being legal is that hopefully those that spark up when they shouldn't will "disappear " in a cloud of their own smoke!!! See , I can still rant from a distance!!

First off: You posted this note at exactly 4:20 pm... Slightly Ichronic I would say.

Secondly: What'd the weed ever do to you? Crushing Busch beers out there is fine then driving home for many, but a couple of puffs of
the reefer and you write those ppl off as silly as someone who'd buy a new Polaris 850...?

Thirdly: There seems to be very Little meaningful conditions updates these days on here....
Swear more time is spent hating on weed, G4'$, YAmacam, and where to park.... Oooh and also it's Nov 17th is there
Enuff snow yet at so and so.... Same sh#t year to year.

You see that, one post and I'm back Trust me BO , I am as tough on the boozers as the "silly people ", just that the weed smells like s%$t and is easier to locate! There's nothing I enjoy more than a ice cold frosty pop after a day of sledding , but I'm not impaired . The "silly person " only needs a couple tokes off his fatty and he's buzzed, therein lies the difference . I don't need to be stoned, drunk or "feeling good" when I head up the hill , my "high" is obtained just from being allowed to participate in such an amazing sport. That and 28 years of seeing carnage from drunk and stoned driver's may have perverted my opinion a tad. And having a nephew that's been a crackhead on the streets of Kelowna for 10 years doesn't help either! I have very valid reasons for my opinions. And all those "silly people " at the 420 smoke in, do they actually seem normal to you??? And, I've killed some more time on this site, seeing as there ain't no snow report's! Good to hear from ya Tex!❤
