+3 in town this morning snow on ground is melting fast I'd say it would be a gravel bath from the bottom in the next week given the warm temps down below.......

Mustang is more representative of the back end of Eagles and it'll be another month before that's open.

Rain/sleet to 19km yesterday air temp at cabin was -1C and dropping as a storm came in. Dug a pit 100cm to ground in untouched snow. Most storm snow is ridden down or consolidated need to hunt for pockets of wind blown and watch your A-arms

Main road in to blue looks closed for logging till mid Jan. Sled Sicamous has updated their grooming report. Back to the long way around I guess:(

At least the Owl's road is in better shape after it actually got some maintenance this summer due to logging on that side.

Na it's not closed, have a radio you can drive up any fsr road

They are logging up to 10 km and into the north, we parked at 13 km last weekend with no issues, and Buddy's parked there again this weekend with no issues

Sled sicamous website clearly says industrial closure 7 days a week. There were already jackwagons up there last weekend that had mostly blocked the caribou road at 10km. Can't wait to see someones pickup get a side wiped off by a trailer bunk.

And also the cops will be there making sure your not going up, even weekends

Guess there was a incident this weekend where a loaded logging truck coming down had issues with a truck and 4 place trailer with no radio ( go figure) , and they figured they had the right and the logging truck should move, cause they couldn't back down

I doubt there is need to create a thread about 4 place trailers everyone knows early season sled deck and in the box of your truck is king and that trailers were made to park in the lots not the roads up but jackwagons will always be jackwagons and think they know better and can do it thread or no thread lol.case closed

Besides starting a thread to whine about it is like being a schoolgirl with her period.
