Just phoned t&t and ordered one up for my sled. I have never wore one before on anything but after reading this thread got me thinking its a great idea.

Everyone could you leave Maxwell alone cause he is my forum hero and I don't like to see people picking on him. GO MAXWELL!

Maxwell = the new JOEY.......

Oh and as far as a tether goes....not nearly as much as I should because I fall off a lot....
Used to wear it on my glove but everytime I'd go to take a drink of my beer the machine would shut down and I'd get thrown over the hood.... so I said fawk that I'm spilling too much beer.

I need a teth-air to put on my case of beer then when it falls off the back of the sled the sled would stop to alert me of my missing cargo....

I try to remember to put it on, sometimes I'm really good with it, others not so much

If the rider had been wearing his tether, this sled could have been saved.

I have never had one, for over 10 years of riding. The BRP ones pissed me off last week cause we had a warm then cold snap and everyone was calling about the beeping(stupid place to put a chip IMO.) Never had a carbed sled run on its side with any power, never had a EFI one land on its throttle without hitting the kill switch. They have to run a long time upside down to hurt the engine.... if you put the carbs upside down and pre-mix they will run upside down all day.
That being said yes maxwell is a moron but he is our moron!!! He is getting really good at stirring the pot!!!

yes, my insurance. Not everyone has insurance on sleds , my policy will cover damage by an uninsured driver.

Insurance is tricky and I am lucky enough to have parents that work in the industry.

Doesen't matter who you are or who your parents are, your rating will change after a claim.

I have had accidents and my rates did go up. It isnt about nepotism, its about knowing your policy.

Friggin people who cant read

PS Nepotism: Favoritism shown or patronage granted to relatives, as in business.

Hey guys, remember even if you have insurance, your still going to miss the best part of the season. You can't get back time, not to mention losses from injury to you or others.

why don't the manufactures just put them on from the get go like they do for watercraft? ....but then again it would still be up to the rider to use it accordilngly and not just wrap it around the handle bar pad....I think they are a good thing....obviously so do the racers!

hmm i thought they all did, but what do i know.:beer:
