Heading out to coal lake tomorrow for a rip, if you don't hear from me, it means I never checked the ice and I'm probably at the bottom:d J/k I was out that way and checked the ice today and it measures 8.5 inches. I'll be heading out tomorrow for a rip. Happy riding!!

What time you heading out? Never staged from coal.

I'll be heading out around 10am and plan on being there for 11am. I'll be staging from HWY 616 where it splits the lake. There is about 8-12" of snow in certain spots.

GREAT day out on the ice today!!! snow was minimal but the ice is thick. saw 5 trucks on the ice and a suburu WRX doing high speed drifts! I'm not to fond about taking my truck out on the ice yet though....I could feel the ice crack and groan beneath my feet when they were driving around
