Cataract Creek Snow Vehicle riding area official section 2017/18

Hello fellow riders. Just returned from out at Cataract and there is NO new snow. 2 flakes blown over the mountains doesn`t improve the riding conditions. But if your interested there must be a sale on Christmas Trees as there was probally 50 vehicles chopping all those planted trees down for Santa to put presents under later this month. I worry about cutting trees off the trail and these guys are harvesting planted trees by a logging company. Wonder if these are the same people complaining about the logging to be going on down at Highwood Junction this winter.

We as motorized users will be run over the coals if we did anything illegal in the bush.
But i bet they dont even know or care that they are doing something illeagal. General public doesnt care about that but if us motorized guys run over a tree we are killing nature. Just saying. A little off topic but still important

Can anyone confirm the time and location of the meeting today? Also has the team snap invites been sent out yet? I haven't received one as of yet and I hear there's some good info on it regarding group rides that are coming up.

Location is Legion #275, just east of Deerfoot Tr & Memorial Dr, 755 40th St SE, Calgary.

Friend in Longview said nothing this morning. Im going Monday will report. Maybe tonight. Lost Creek weather station reporting .1 MM yesterday. Thats .01 MM ​which = nothing

Highwood House - snow Tuesday but more Tuesday night! Then again flurries Thursday night through Friday overnight.

Lost Creek South - snow starting Tuesday also, and more overnight into Wednesday, then same as above Thursday/Friday.
