These are the PM's I am getting, not only from this person but others. I feel it is important that we share info, but if we are sharing info it should be the correct info. I for one am shutting off my computer for the night and I know my friends will be contacting me directly as they have been doing. I am helping the people I know by respecting their wishes to not spread information that has not been %100 confirmed. Many people have had a long and tiring day and many more will have a long and tiring next few days. If you wish to have more information the RCMP is available and will be doing a press conferance when all the proper information has been gathered. That is the most important that needs to be shared.

My boyfriend and his friends were up there today, some were barried but all are okay. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the friends and families being affected by this right now. I hope everyone makes it home safe and sound tonight.

God bless and RIP to the deceased. To all the rescuers, stay safe and we'll keep you in our prayers as well. Deepest heartfelt condolences to family and friends of the unlucky victims. This makes me sick to my stomach. Sad part is the season isn't over and this won't be enough to get through to the thickest of skulls. The avalanche warning is still in place for most of Southern BC.

All of B.C. SAR is not on standby. We are ready to go and help if needed tomorrow but I bet they have enough guys in the area to do the job. What a mess and I hope everyone that is missing is found safe and sound.

Talked to someone that is there and hes saying 25 dead and many pple hurt. It is total devestation for all that is there including all the families and us sledders that are not there. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all. People are sopposedly still sitting at the hill pondering what just happened. Terribly sad!!!!
