I like it! easier to keep an eye on u joints, bellhousings are a pain to engage the splines if you pull the package.

Had a laugh a few years back when I asked a friend if he greased his u joints, he said ya I grease that nipple on the top of the suction piece... driveline let go, broke the bell, ruined the adapter too and probably f'd the motor crank thrust bearing....

Ay reasoning behind the right hand drive rather then the traditional jet boat left hand drive? It feels so weird to push about throttle with the right hand haha

It only takes a few minutes to get used to .
I have it both ways on two different boats and doesn’t bother me .

Well Mer lol, I'v been shifting gears in my cars and trucks for the last 40 years with my right hand so it just made sense. I prefer right hand drive, had both.

To bad Kodiak doesn’t make a nice cover like the Raptor motors have?
Something easy to remove but covers up whole top end?
Probably could build something out of light aluminum and do some cool chit ? Lol

could always get an escalade cover or aftermarket. that exchanger is in a weird spot for a manifold cover though. I agree, seeing the blower on every Kodiak LSA vs the Cadillac cover in a CTS-V

Was thinking the same for sure, I also going to make a sick fresh air intake.

going to run 4 inch pipe to the gunnels on each side to pull fresh cold air, in my last boat I gained 100 RPM doing this. My last green boat would pull the engine bay into a vacuum.

For sure . When you close up everything tight to motor for storage it needs air. First thing I noticed on your last boat .
Good job

Most likely do a cover like this, none of the stock 6.2 covers will even remotely fit with the **** on both sides of the intake.
