Never owned a righty, or hand throttle for that matter... but jets like more weight on the left in my experience as limited as it is! Maybe I’m just jelly! Can’t wait for summer

Yeh it only takes a few minutes to adjust . I have two boats and both different and don’t even think about it .

I never owed a lefty boat. All my boats props and jet were on the right. To me it seams backwards and like it would be awkward. Even though you drive to the river on the left

Why do they like the weight on the left? Just the way the pump and motor spin? Now I think about it my fuel tank is set off center towards the left about 4”.

Thats how it was explained to me... big torque lifts the left up first... Some race boats have a larger saddle tank on the left even... might be picking the fly **** out of pepper but, what if you win? lol

I prefer right hand myself, I adjust with my saddle tanks throughout the day. Been shifting gears to long with my right hand to change now. I ran a lefty for a season and just prefer right.

Shifting gears lol, never had reverse before either! how do you adjust your saddle tanks? our race boat usually uses more out of one but they T before the filter... not sure why. My sport has one big ol' 200 liter under the back seat full of 100LL!
