the viper weight according my yamaha technical rep is 585 rtr and the skidoo is 565 rtr not sure 20 lbs are worth fighting over. yamah power and reliability and doos not so much reliabilty.
Only 6 guys? Why not hyperbole it to 20 guys and a crane? I've seen a few "multi-guy rescues" of 4 strokes(turbos)....and it was because they were stuck in some impossible frickin location that a N/A sled would never get to. I have a season on a T-Nytro, and riding the way I do (like a wus mostly) I rarely got stuck. And when I did I only recall actually requiring help once or twice to get unstuck....by ONE guy (lucky Kibbles, LOL). Can't say that for the 18 years of riding 130-150hp sleds.I think they will win a few over, and would love to test one out but...
I really doubt it would be around 50 pounds.. I would be surprised if it's not closer to 100. Time will tell.
These vids don't show when 6 guys are trying to get a 4 stroke unstuck somewhere...and if you say that you don't get stuck.. well...that's where the adventure ends for some and begins for others.
