This sled looks great. Yamaha is now officially competing in the mountain class of snowmobiles!

The biggest difference between our kits and everyone else's, is that our kits have to meet our standards...and they are pretty darn high.
Anyone that has seen our stuff run knows that it rips, and the kits we sell are the exact same as what we ride.
We also ride in the same mountains that our customers ride in and know what works.
Our service is also second to none because we are the manufacturers. We know the kits inside and out and ride them every weekend. Warranty and service is quick and easy too because all parts are in stock in central Alberta.
Plenty of people have bought cheap turbo kits in the past thinking how bad can they be...well it can be pretty bad when they don't run and the dealer has no idea how to make them run.

Wow, thats a pretty high horse you ride on Neil. I can appreciate what your trying to do, but your arrogance is getting a little much. I have no doubt your kit is fantastic, but to say noone else's compares is a bit of a stretch.
Not everyone wants or needs to run a full kit like yours. Most talent levels likely can't match the stock machines ability or price tag anyway.
Yamaha isn't normally associated with cheap ch!t, so a cost effective, pump gas kit is all most want.
I can't speak for everyone, but I think you'd be mich further ahead if you went back to being a respected business owner, and let JP. do the smartass cheerleading.

Im not going to wreck a good thread. Interpretation is huge. Go back through and check your posts.

As for this thread... this sled is sweet, even in the eyes of a pro owner. The other companies have quite a line to follow, as it looks like hamayamer has hit a homerun with this one.

Great job Yamaha. Factory turbo, full warranty, Yamaha fit and finish, lots of power for 80% of the guys or gals out there. Its a no brainer for those looking for a great reliable sled !
I thought Randy Swenson's "Little Blue" was a 180 kit ?

I am disappointed that yamaha hasn't come out with there own chassis this year......as for the mpi turbo, it will be a good option for the guys concerned about having warranty, and enough power to make it a good boon docking sled. My vote for aftermarket turbo with big power is boost-it and Mcx. Hats off to the Neil and his crew for the hours of rd and money that goes into making a kit that runs as well as theirs and customer service on every phone call I have made to there shop(and I don't even have there turbo kit)...........it makes me laugh that Neil is on here often helping guys out and letting people know how their stuff is coming along, but guys think he's bragging and carving the completion.....I don't see to many other turbo kit manufactures on here daily helping out with sled issues?......the XIC fuel control Box been a huge turning point for turbo kits that used larger injectors for fuel delivery.....Honestly dealing with a bunch of tight azzzz snowmobilers everyday has to be exhausting...lol
I typically don't comment on these type of discussions, cause they usually get out of control, but boost it has a good "local" thing going on for us mountain riders and we need to support them.

What Turblue has said. I have never dealt with Neil or know him personally but respect the man for the way he presents himself and his product.
Has always seemed to have answers for fellas in trouble and willing to share his thoughts.
I have had lots of mod sleds but never a turbo due to the 2 stroke .
4 strokes to heavy and way to much $ to make them into something I would want.
2015 looks like the year that I may make the plunge into the turbo 4 stroke. Lol
From what I see so far looks to be something that is workable for under $23 G
I will be going to Boost it for the simple fact they build , produce and stand behind what they sell as far as I can see.
Will be trying out a 2014, 174 Yamaha with 260 kit on it from another producer of turbos.
If I like the machine itself Neil will be getting a call to make it happen for next year.
My 2 cents

Seen climbmax is on here, have you tried the steering on the 2015? Is it better or have you gotten used to your 14? To me the 2015 seems like it would be a lot better.
