Oooohhh and the best part....on top of that rediculous price you get an extreme mountain sled that weighs 489 lbs!...hahahaha what a joke! same hp as the past two years but lets add 36 lbs that'll make it climb. Friggin thing won't be able to make it up to drop off anything "extreme"...hahha
Hey Turbo Freak, why dont you hang out on the 2011 cat thread and comment on how they did nothing but come out with new stickers and how their sleds look like a 2002 Ski Doo.;)
Let the rest of us Doo guys be stoked on what they have to offer. The freeride is a beefeed up sled for those of us that like to GO BIG.......... I'll stick to carving pow, hittting kickers and droping off cornices, which is what that sled is made to do and what I'm gonna do on it.
Please dont spill your hateriade on your artic cat jersey...... :nono:

Just wondering where you are getting a new 2010 for $ 10 000, in the US ?
and shocks like that are more like z bro's or ohlins with a piggy back resivoir and external compression adjustment and revalveable internal dampening, they are like $ 1200 buck at least, compairing those shock to a set of basic fox floats it like compairing a Mcdonals cheeseburger to a steak dinner at the Keg...that sled is pretty sick but out of the budget for "some people" but most guys I know that have a "sweet turbo nytro" have more like $ 30 grand into it, you could buy a freeride, and a new yz 450 and a used truck for that...it's al about your passion and you budget, I saw a guy at golden riding a summit 700 that was worth like $ 2000 bucks out climb his buddy all day on his new cat, it's all about the passion Steel, but I'm pretty shoked on the price too, I'll agree with you on that..

Pines Service in Prince Albert bro
they are/were blowing them out

this was more of an example of what COULD be done w a 2010
give or take $500, your still only in $11-11,500

sorry bro, i know u sell these for a living, not trying to be an ass to you
but dude, $16,299 + $10% tax = $17,928.90 (almost $18k) for a sled + plates and insurance
I sure hope the oil industry is good in Alberta and the banks like your clients

i do well and make good cash, but i STILL cant fathom spending that kind of coin
i can buy a pull type 29ft camper trailer for that and camp every weekend w my family for a little more than that sled

again, not arguing that they are on to something here - its a great sled for sure
just more than I and some are willing to spend - thats all! :)

Friggin company has all these internet sites blocked but the pic that longhorn posted looks "tight". The price is NUTS but i'll just wait for all you rich boys to buy up the 2011 and then i'll scoop your 08/09/10 XP for dirt cheap as you'll be so revved up for your new ride. Yes, i'm jealous but in no way can afford to pay next to $18K for a sled. I'm sure this will have some impact on the price of used for next year. For all snow checkin a new one enjoy as i'll probably still be riding my ol' REV but droolin as you ride by.:d

I'll be drooling at the fact you have close to $ 200 000 dollars worth of boats and trucks in your drive way........

Pines must have finally smartened up as when I was looking for my 09 XP they wanted $12800 + tax. They were about $800 off from what I paid and I got electric start. I was in there a few times a week ago, they are changing some, but sales still needs to pull his head out of his a$$ and get a personality. You have to be in his crowd or it seems like he doesn't give you the time of the day. my 2 cents.

Oh...were we supposed to be talking about the new 2011 line up, BRP :nono:, I am with maxwell AGAIN......I could care less about the decals, and crap we have been doing ourselves for years. Give me more HP right NOW.

Yet, somehow I am with Longhorn too.....nice to keep up with all this emissions bull chit....and still produce the good fuel/oil consumption, and HP. Funny how we try to save the planet with lower emissions, yet I have to put double the amount of diesel in my truck. That's thinking.....

Pines is $ 11200 otd for a 2010 800 146 with e/s(probly only 1 year warranty), same or close to all other dealers, he would be loosing at least $ 1000 @ $ 10 000 all in which is why I called "not possible" on the previous price quote....

Yes it is hard for alot of people to agree with the truth. Truth hurts feelings, that is why"some" men wont tell their other half when it isnt the pants that make them look fat ,

A&E in Brooks has a few 2010 everests left, 10500 for 154 and 10700 for 163. I dont know if that is tax in or not but still good deal, 1500 and u could put all mods on that u would need.

lol very funny steel :), I will say that even I love selling non current sleds becasue I get them for cheaper and so do my customers, and then they can set them up for their riding style with the $ they save, but that Freeride has like $ 2000 in suspension alone over an everest, she's pricey but I think they will sell. It's kinda like motocross bikes now with that sled, you could spend $ on moding the crap out of it but now you dont have to, she comes with killer shocks(front and rear) and nice bars, wider floorboards, cool skiis beefed up skid and mxzx chassis mods etc, all that stuff plus the labour to install it cost lots, and now you can buy it off the floor. For guys who dont ride much( 500km a year) it will not matter, but for a guy who rides over 1000 miles a year, I cant wait for that beefed up chassis so I can go big without haivng to worry about snapping my sled in two. Congrats on having another baby man, thats great. See you in the hills.

Whoa - priced out 154 800 X Etech. $15,000. Does make the Freeride look like a bargain.

How do I hide this one from wife? Going to take a lot of loonies not going into the change jar.................

Easy to do, just take the old body work off your old xp (or a buddies)and put it on the new one, she'll never notice the difference :eek:n Unless your wife checks the bills, then it's better to just do it and ask for forgiveness later.:d

I thought they said something about a 2.5" track this year too. Nothing burns me more than $13K on a sled - and having to ante up another $800 to upgrade the track.

Would love it if I could retro-fit new front end onto my 2010 to get a year out of her. New skis to boot as well.

So just playing - 163 X with 800R comes in at $15,500. That is a lot of dough for what was likely the "std" mountain sled.

Oh - and wifey does check the bills. And I don't have enough in the slush fund to slide this one through!!
