Show up, sign in, give them money, pick first card, they write it down on a piece of paper(which you keep with you), you head out on the trail(it is marked, and it is NOT a race) you will come to 3 more checkpoints where you will pick another card at eah one and then you head back to the...
Just got back from 5 days at this campground. Great little spot, fantastic lake for swimming, and we hear fishing. Not so much for quadding, mostly road riding, and dead end old logging roads. We did find one gem of a road/trail. Did manage 250 kms for the 2 days we rode, about 140 of it was...
I agree, go with experienced riders who will help and show the right and safe way to ride quads, nothing worse than doing something new and getting hurt. Take care and have fun.
When we were at Kimball lake about 11 years ago there was no ATV's in Provincial park. I don't think much has changed since then. You would have to inquire about random camping in the area.
Did not think they were ever going to have one again. All in again, have yet to not finish this one. Same location as all the others? Up range road 192?
So our 18 year son has decided to try Millwright work. Has one resume in at a place in Edmonton that he says does apprentice new people. What would be the best way for a guy his age to get started? He has been working for the past 2 years at Fountain Tire in St. Albert, very hands on, very...
Thanks SWELD. I did see this thread last week, but then got conflicting info.lol. Are there a lot of trails starting at the west side of the lake? Or is the east side the best?
Looking for reliable info on the trails by Fawcett Lake, north of Smith. Have heard that there are a lot of them, have also heard that there is not. Have heard that it is all skeg, and others say there is some.
We prefer harder packed trails, not adverse to mud, but don't like skeg all that...
I have a 2003 RAV4, standard, absolutely love it, fantastic in winter, good gas mileage, excellent quality, has over 320000kms on it, we are second owners and the previous owner kept it top notch. Hubby bought a 1 year newer, loves the vehicle but wants an automatic( got it for a very good...
I see stupid stuff everyday, as I am sure you all do. Just the other day a crotch rocket eastbound into Edmonton from Spruce Grove, I am on the new pavement, right hand lane, he comes up very fast behind me, moves to the left lane, which is lower because it still needs new pavement so it is...
Nope, took my nephew once in the Edson rally, had no problems, he had all the gear on. But I don't double anymore, not even the dog. Sister in law whined once that we never take them quadding, I told her you get a quad and truck and a tent we will take you. Never heard another peep from them...
Welcome. Hubby and I are still a few years from retirement but plan on doing the same thing as you, but will get a small " A " class diesel pusher and an enclosed for the toys.
